anyone else feel some light cramping around 18 weeks? I remember with my first the nurse said it was due to uterine stretching. Feels like mild period cramps. (Note: waiting to hear back from doc)
Yep. Lots of cramping. It's totally normal and expected around this time, especially with round ligament pain. Had it with my first son and this pregnancy. Don't stress!
I get cramps pretty regularly. They started when I first got pregnant. I even went to my OB for an in-between visit just to get checked out because of it and it was nothing. Hopefully you find that yours is nothing too!

Going through the same thing at the moment as well and I'm at 18 weeks. It's been kind of going on through the day and it's been worrying me as well. I was contemplating moving my Drs appointment up to get it checked out. Definitely comforting to hear that I'm not going through it alone!
@helloaustin123 A few weeks ago I had a lot of cramping. It felt like mild period cramping. Of course there was not bleeding or anything like that. When talking with my midwife/yoga instructor (best prenatal yoga class ever!) she said it was pretty common. It has since gone away, and now just get the twinges of the round ligament pain.
Yes - I'm 15w5d and the last couple of days have been having more cramping than usual -- and mostly on the left side. Some google searches tell me that one-sided cramping is very common. I have my 16w check-in tonight so will also be talking with my midwife about it.
Comforting to know I wasn't alone! Mine lasted all day the day I posted. It was uncomfortable all day! The next day it was fine and went away and I swear I got bigger overnight. Maybe it was indeed my uterus stretching and making room for growing baby!
I'm 17w4d and I've noticed that pretty much this whole pregnancy I've gotten some mild period type cramps about once a week. I'm sorta assuming it's just my uterus growing. I've noticed a little more cramping the last week or so and I've also been more tired and hungry which seems to fit with the assumption that baby is growing and my uterus is stretching to accommodate him/her.

17.5 weeks and mild cramping throughout the day and lower back soreness. Going to ultrasound tonight and am pretty confident all is ok since nausea is still here.
I've had tons of cramping since the beginning. I just bought a new water bottle so hopefully I will start drinking more water. I think it's because it's my second. I only had 1 quick cramp the whole time with dd, this one is totally opposite.
@bmccain24@helloaustin123 I remember realizing this with my second pregnancy in the third trimester. The days that I drank less water I had crazy cramping. I think I had even gone to see my doctor very concerned before I connected it to the days I had forgotten to bring my water bottle to work.
