After 3 years of trying including 2 failed IUI (1mc @5wks), we had given up. I'm almost 41 and ok with 2 grown stepkids so I got a full time teaching job and we starting talking houses and travel....then two days before Christmas I got a BFP!! I really thought the skipped period was early menopause but here we are lol.
8 weeks today and cautiously accepting the possibility. My RE's office did a blood test last week but my first OB appt is Wednesday.
