With DD and DS1, I didn't start cereal/solids until about 6 months. DS1 had been getting 'tastes' of our hot cereals and soft foods since he was about 4 months old though, and I honestly feel like had I started solids with him them, he would have taken to them great. That boy was born to eat haha DD didn't take well to solids, but I have learned that's just how she is. 5 years later she still eats like a bird, but drinks fluids like a fish. DS2 just turned 4 months old, and he has taken a particular interest to us when we eat (I hold him on my lap during meal time while I feed DS1 who is 17 months). He follows our utensils with his eyes and just stares while we eat. I feel like he would also take well to baby cereal like his brother did, but I'm on the fence about introducing cereal yet since he isn't sitting up on his own. Not sure if that has anything to do with introducing solids or not. He just seems ready aside from that. So, What have you done or what are you doing? Thank you in advance!
