my UO is that I take down all my Xmas decorations on the 29th. DH is off work to help and after being decorated since thanksgiving I'm ready for my house to be back to normal.
Was discussing baby stuff with my family this weekend and my UO is that we'll probably be minimalists when it comes to baby gear. Found something called a "lobster" high chair that clips on anywhere, for example. We live in 800s sq ft with no plans to move (also UO!) and need to save all the space possible!
I'm not sure if this qualifies but I don't think I should be responsible for feeding everyone in the house... Now my child I understand... But my husband literally acts like if I don't cook he's going to starve.... He will just wander around the kitchen like he doesn't know where anything is. Then I'm the only one who feeds the dog. So at any given time I have a baby screaming. My husband asking what's for dinner and a dog following me around. I feel like a cafeteria worker. Don't get me wrong I love them.... And I will continue to cook. But today it's annoying
@DeansGirl14 We lived in a pretty small apt when I was pregnant with DS. Trying to tell people we didn't want a swing, a vibrating chair, a walker, a highchair, etc, all at once- you would think I had a unicorn horn in the middle of my forehead. I'm glad we stuck to our guns, though, it made things a lot easier after DS was born. You really don't need a lot of the stuff that people say you do.
@DeansGirl14 I used the Chico 360 high chair. But weight limit was 25lbs, and by 10 months she was pushing her legs against the frame and standing up in the chair. I ended up getting one that attached to the kitchen chair, and converted to a booster. Keep weight in mind. I have a 32lber at 24 months.
Haha. I love the replies. I knew it would be quite unpopular! I just can't do it though. I can have small quantities of almond and sunflower seed butter but nothing like a sandwich worth. It's been really hard. I'm used to packing a sandwich if I'm going to be out hiking or somewhere without a kitchen and I'm having a hard time finding a replacement.
