    How far along are you? 10 weeks

    How big is baby? A strawberry

    Upcoming appointments this week? Nope not until mid January I do have to go in and do a glucose test so I'll probably do that next week. 

    Any new symptoms or changes? Nope still nauseous as soon as I wake up but I have found that drinking a little bit of soda helps to settle my stomach. 

    Rants/Raves/Questions? None this week.

    GTKY: (stealing from Wednesday) What was your favorite gift that you received OR gave for Christmas? I gave my little sister a necklace with a picture of a note from my mom that said "I love you- Mom" and she cried when I gave it to her. She was only 8 when my mom died and my mom was sick more than half of her life so I always feel guilty that my brother and I got to experience our healthy fun mom who went and did everything with us so the necklace was just a reminder that my mom loved her just as much even though she wasn't able to do everything with her. I showed my aunts and uncles and my grandpa and they all cried because my mom had very distinct handwriting. It was probably my favorite gift to give ever.

    How big is baby?  A strawberry, a ferrero rocher, or a tart kumquat... depends on the app.

    Any new symptoms or changes? Nope, still feeling crappy and exhausted all the time. 

    Rants/Raves/Questions? Nope

    GTKY: (stealing from Wednesday) What was your favorite gift that you received OR gave for Christmas? FIL gave me a spa gift certificate for a facial and massage and then a mani/pedi.  I.cannot.wait.

    Upcoming appointments this week? Nope - we had a meet and greet with a midwife practice on Tuesday and are officially switching over - our first appointment is January 9!

    Any new symptoms or changes? Nope. Still not much. Although now the anxiety is creeping back in since I still barely have symptoms and the ultrasound was almost two weeks ago. Am I crazy if I can't wait until I start showing?

    Rants/Raves/Questions? Is it Friday yet? I can't wait for a long weekend with no "real" obligations.

    GTKY: (stealing from Wednesday) What was your favorite gift that you received OR gave for Christmas? Ooooh, I'm going to cheat and do both. My favorite received is a tie between the speed/cadence sensor DH got me for my bike and my new water bottle - it literally keeps ice all day at my desk. My favorite given was to DH's mom - this is her first grandchild so we made custom countdown blocks that countdown the number of days to her becoming a Nonnie. She took a picture of herself with them and sent it to a few friends to announce to them - it was adorable!

    @cssme13 We had told her at Thanksgiving, so she already knew. But she still loved it!

    Rants/Raves/Questions? I didn't use my "floating holiday" yet this year and now I will lose it since I need to work tomorrow to get a stupid project out that isn't even mine.

    GTKY: (stealing from Wednesday) What was your favorite gift that you received OR gave for Christmas? Hmmm I love giving gifts but I don't think I did anything super special this year.  I did get my DH a drone as a completely random surprise and he loves it which makes me happy.

    Any new symptoms or changes? heartburn at night and discharge (clear/white)

    Rants/Raves/Questions? What kind of pre-natal vitamins do you take? I just finished a bottle, have been taking Nature Made Pre-Natals DHA for the last year and a half, they seem fine so I'm going to get a new bottle today. Just curious what everyone else likes.

    GTKY: (stealing from Wednesday) What was your favorite gift that you received OR gave for Christmas? 
    DH gave me a super cute set of "I Love Lucy" pajamas, I love them! And I gave a friend (through a secret santa gift exchange) a awesome original 1971 press of Joni Mitchell's LP Blue (she's a vinyl collector, adventurer and lover of classic folk rock, so I knew she would love it).

    @Sassenach1743 I take the same ones! I've never had an issue with them (I've been taking them since June) so I'll probably just stick with them. Oh, and for those in the States, Target has them BOGO 50% off right now!

    How far along are you?  13 weeks

    How big is baby?  A Lemon

    Upcoming appointments this week? Not this week, Blood work next week and apt 1/16 @ 16w first one that DH can come to since 6w

    Any new symptoms or changes? Nausea is finally starting to get better

    Rants/Raves/Questions? Really hoping the fatigue ends soon, I hate this worst then the nausea, it leaves me unable to get things done around the house. Also, today marks 2 years since I lost my grandfather, I wanted nothing more than to give him a great grandchild before he passed away but it didn't happen and I am hoping that he is watching over us.

    GTKY: (stealing from Wednesday) What was your favorite gift that you received OR gave for Christmas? I am a nurse and worked 12hour shifts throughout Christmas so I didn't get to celebrate yet. But our mothers are getting necklaces that say Grandmother. My husband got me a winter jacket that I needed desperately and a nice personalized jacket for work.
