How's the second tri treating you this week?

RLP has been intense, but I honestly think it's because the weight of the crutches and now the boot are putting strain on my ligaments. It's mostly on the right side. I also gained two pounds last week and my whole belly feels stretched. Must be a growth spurt for both of us.

She's done some intense kicking that has hurt quite a lot. Anyone else feeling like baby is head butting or is kicking you in the butt? I suspect she's hitting a nerve I can feel in the butt because obviously she's not IN there. lol.

Otherwise, still insanely thirsty and just really tired. The hormones have been bad and I've cried a lot all week.
  • I am with you @HGRich, on the hormones and crying a lot this week!

Besides that, mine has been awful back/hip pain. I wore my support belt some last night and that helped but if it's gonna be like this the next 14 weeks I may cry over that too! I feel like an old lady trying to walk anywhere!

  • I'm really feeling pregnant right now! My belly is very obviously pregnant! (which is nice). People in public are always asking me "when are you due?" now and not just wondering awkwardly, lol... My main source of discomfort is in my hips and lower back- ugh!. I think the baby might be putting pressure on my sciatica because every now and then I can feel a sharp pain down the back of my leg. On a positive note, the baby is moving like crazy this week and those movements are very reassuring that he is growing stronger each day. I am off from work this week, and loving every second I am spending with my DS. I'm trying to make the most of the next 3 months before his little brother arrives :)

  • Anyone else getting splotchy red cheeks? I typically don't break out or have skin irritation so I'm guessing this is pregnancy related. aksk having what I'm guessing is RLP mostly at night. Lower abdomen is tight and painful, I have to move really slowly.

I haven't had any of the red cheeks, but I have definitely had a tightness in my abdomen at night. It is like I am trying to stretch out and I can't.

  • For the last week or so, whenever I stand up after sitting for a while I feel very tight across my lower abdomen under my belly. It usually goes away after 30 seconds or so of standing or walking around. Anyone else have this? Im guessing it's just another kind of RLP but wasn't sure.

Sounds like Braxton Hicks actually. When you touch your belly, does it feel firm?  If so, that's probably BH.  Very normal at the end of the day and nothing to worry about. :)

  • I think I'm going through a growth spurt finally. Gained six pounds in a month and I can not only feel my belly stretching but the RLP is worse than I've felt yet. Nice intermittent jabs of pain as well as constant pelvic pain. I also definitely feel out of breath a lot more quickly and especially when I'm laying down. I'm catching up to where my mother thinks I should be. She keeps telling me I look too small so it was nice to be able to tell her my uterus was measuring perfectly at my last appointment. But so much RLP and pain to go with it.  :|
  • DH got me a Spire for Christmas. I've been wanting one for well over a year.

I just got it set up today....it keeps telling me I'm tense based on my breathing.  I don't think it understands that I'm just KU!  :D
