Daughter: 1 yr old
TTC 2.0: Planning to actively try in May/June

Ages (you and SO): I'm 31 and H is 32.
How many months have you been TTC?
Our firstborn just turned 10 months, and due to some GI issues, I am still breastfeeding. I'd like to wait to TTC until she is weaned. We are thinking of really TTC in the spring, but I am planning to lurk a bit before then and freshen up on my knowledge. I've read TCOYF, and temped the first time around, but not sure I'm going to temp this time. I just love every minute of sleep I can get hahaha! That may change though!
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.)
H and I have been together for almost 7 years, married for nearly 2. My DD is 10 months old, and I am a WAHM (not as glamorous as I had thought! Proving to be much harder than I imagined!!). I work in the mental health field and also blog. We love to hike, ski (although I won't be skiing again for a while because of the logistics at this point!) snowshoe, watch The Walking Dead, robo watch apocalyptic shows (like The 100!), and read just about anything! We love vacationing and traveling together and are looking at a trip to Hawaii in fall of 2018 (hopefully with two little ones!).
Looking forward to getting to know you wonderful ladies!!
Re: Newbie Intro Of The Week 12/18
How many months have you been TTC?
3 this fall, and 3 last fall. I've had two year-long jobs, so it's made timing a little difficult... I think we will just keep trying at this point, though!
WAYDTGKU?
OPKs, tracking CM, EOD/ED during FW. I tempted last year when we were trying, but it made me too obsessive, so for now I'm trying without it. Might start again next month if no BFP this month.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, jobs, hobbies, etc.)
H and I have been married for a year and a half now, but have been together for over 6 years. We have two dogs and two cats
Looking forward to getting to know all of you as well! I've been lurking here for a few weeks, trying to get up the courage to post for a while, so thanks, @coffee4mama for the thread!
Married since: May 2015
TTC #1 since August 2016 (also TTC for 3 months in Fall 2015)
Ages (you and SO): I'm 33 and he's 32
How many months have you been TTC? We've been trying for 15 months now... I'm feeling every one of them! We've had two chemical pregnancies (first 14 months ago, second 2 months ago).
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Charting (although I stopped monitoring BBT as it was always up and down... faulty thermometer maybe!), OPK tests, monitoring CM, hypnotherapy (for the "just relax" school of advice), dancing naked in the moonlight, sacrificing the first piece of chocolate in every bar... just the usual.
I am now seeing a specialist and am having monthly CD21 blood tests and just had an HSG test.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I have been stalking this board for months now - looking forward to getting to know a few people who know what's going on.
My husband and I have been together for 9 years now - my husband suffers from peter-pan-syndrome, so it took me awhile to convince him to have a family. I also wanted to wait until we had all our ducks in a row before having a baby... the ducks are lined up military-style, but I am learning that I can't make everything happen through hard work.
I'm an aunty to three under 5's and have two pregnant sisters, so at least there will be two more babies for me to coo over soon!
TTC #1: Oct 2015
DX: Unexplained - all tests normal

How many months have you been TTC?
This was our first month/cycle TTC.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.)
H and I have been together 3.5 years, got married this past February. No kids yet. No pets yet, although we are currently in the home study process to foster a dog. We just got a house (moving out of a studio apartment we shared for 2 years to save up for said house) and finally have the space for a dog... but we've decided that we would prefer to foster so as not to have to put an adopted dog or puppy through the tough transition to sibling hood with a new baby.
DH and I love cooking and baking, and are big foodies. Im pretty handy, and spend a lot of time DIYing. I love horseback riding, but I don't own a horse and haven't taken lessons in years. That said, my stepmother-in-law has a horse that I frequently care for and ride, and I'm not looking forward to not riding during pregnancy (plenty of people do, but I'd be too nervous to ride beyond first trimester... always the risk of a fall even though I haven't fallen in years). I like spending time with my grandmother and DH'S grandmother (whom I'm currently visiting for the holidays... without DH... I'm really caring for her while my in-laws are away on a cruise). I'm an old person at heart. Case in point, I'm a genealogist by profession.
Looking forward to participating in the TTC community here, although I hope I don't have to TTC too long. I'm at the end of my first TWW. Excited to know very soon if this cycle was a go.
Ages (you and SO): I am about to turn 25 and DH is about to be 28
How many months have you been TTC?
This is our first month! Nervous....excited...so many emotions!
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?
At this point we are just keeping track of my cycle lightly and easing our way into it all. We are trying to eat/be healthy and enjoy to journey without stressing to much.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.)
No kids but have 3 dogs (ahh never again!). We live in a multi generation household so never a dull moment! DH and I have been together for 10 years and married for 3 so this has been a long time coming for us. We decided to not tell anyone we are TTC so that there is no additional pressure and we can enjoy this new chapter with each other before everyone else knows. Obviously when the time comes we will tell everyone but there is nothing better than having zero people give input. I just tell them that we will start thinking about it eventually.
Debated posting but I am too excited to hold it in! Excited to share it with someone so I don't burst.:)
Ages (you and SO): I'm 23 and DH turns 30 in February.
How many months have you been TTC?
I'm on month 2, cycle 1 (day 41). I recently got off BCP so we're trying not to put too much pressure on it. I haven't had my first period yet and I'm already slightly worried because I had was highly irregular before starting BCP. We're just taking it one day/week/month/cycle at a time.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.)
DH and I just got married on November 5 (together 2.5 years). I'm a technical writer who works from home. DH is a software licensing expert supporting the government in DC. No kids, but we have a 2yo fur baby (a Keeshond named Scout). In our spare time, we do board game nights with our friends, hit up movie theater/bar combos, or binge watch TV/Netflix.I'm still going to be lurking for a while longer, but I wanted to introduce myself in case I have any questions or something happens in the weeks to come. I'm excited to get to know you wonderful ladies! Thanks for all you taught me so far
ETA: Whoops! Spelling error. Way to go. First comment fail. What a lovely entrance. *Tips hat*

How many months have you been TTC?
This is our first month trying.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?
Tracking periods, eating healthier, exercising and also taking vitamins. May try pre seed
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.)
My husband and I have been together close to 8 years and married for 3.5 years. No kids yet. We have a little chorkie (Chihuahua Yorkie mix) puppy, named Chispita (means sparky in Spanish). I love taking pictures of nature. We love watching movies/TV shows and playing board games. We also love going to the lake.
Our family has been wanting us to have a kid since we got married so we are not telling anyone that we are finally trying so they don't pressure us. I want to be stress free of them pressuring us.
I work as a Policy Issuance Specialist at a workers comp business.
I'm a little shy. So I will probably lurk a little more.
Ages (you and SO): we're both 31
How many months have you been TTC?
This is the very beginning of month one so technically I guess we haven't even tried yet
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?
I went off BCP in August and starting temping/charting, opks and monitoring cm with the purpose of TTA and letting myself regulate after 6 years on various bcps. After 4 cycles, I kinda sorta know what my body is maybe doing, sometimes. DH claims we'll be doing "two a days" during my FW...I think he's overestimating his stamina but appreciate his enthusiasm.
Also taking pnv.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.)
We've been together 6 years, married for 3. We live in Az with our two big dogs. No kids. My hobbies include watching HGTV and convincing myself that I could be just like Joanna Gaines and make my house beautiful in a weekend, reading, training my dog, and helping DH with his craft beer drinking hobby. Stouts are my favorite, not an IPA fan.
I've been lurking and stalking for more months than I should admit to, but I'm very grateful to you all for all that I've already learned. I'm excited and nervous to start this journey. The mental shift from prevent to go get em is pretty trippy!
When I was growing up I was never told that if it happened it was the worst thing and the end of the world (not by my parents anyway) I was always taught prevention but always knew if something happened I would be supported. Even so outside influences (other people, media, etc) always made it out to be life ruining. *Insert various scary comments from people here* so even with the positive messages I was given the outside voices scared the hell out of me.
As excited as I am about TTC I admit I'm nervous as all get out. I've been repeating the same mantra to myself "You are an adult, you are stable, it's never going to be a perfect time, you have to relax" LOL. DH has been helping a lot with calming down me nervousness. He's super excited about TTC and is helping me harness that
Ages (you and SO): I'm 35 and he's 38.
How many months have you been TTC?
We're just starting TTC. I'm really looking forward to learning about the process. Not that just HIO isn't awesome, but want to maximize the bang, if you know what I mean.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.)
DH and I have been together for 9 years and married this April. We love our two cats, but would like to have at least one child. We waited a long time to get married becuase we wanted to be settled in our careers. I'm a medical librarian, so I do a bunch of health-related research for my job. In my spare time, I read TONS. I love old school video games, and am anxious to get back to quilting. I've made about 8 quilts so far and have plans for about 10 more.
I can be kind of shy, but I'm looking forward to joining this community!
How many months have you been TTC?
Well, I guess technically I'm on month 12 now. We started trying in January, had two chemicals in the spring and found out we were pregnant again in October. We then had a mmc and d&c the week of Thanksgiving. So. We're back at the starting line. Again.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?
Nothing right now. I just got my first AF this week. But I will track CM, use OPKs and use pre-seed. I've also been exercising and trying to get in the habit of taking vitamins
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.)
We have 3 kids, ages 7, 5 and 2. We have a dog and unfortunately just lost our pet bunny on Wednesday (which was also the one month mark since we had our mc. It's been a rough month to say the least). I like to sew and actually do it for a living. I also love puzzles, I find they are perfect for when I just really need clear my head. It's the only time I can ever focus so intently on something
How many months have you been TTC? This is our first month trying ... I'll be testing in two days if AF doesn't arrive!
What are you doing to get knocked up? Temping/charting this month, adding OPKs next month. HIO at least every other day in fertile week until I get crosshairs, every day after positive OPK.
Tell us about yourself: One 16-month-old boy who wants a brother or sister and one 11-year-old dog. My favorite hobby is traveling - usually to tropical places when it's fridgidly cold here. Looking forward to going through this journey with all of you!
Ages (you and SO): I'm 28 & DH is 29
How many months have you been TTC? December is our 4th month... although only our 2nd attempting to track ovulation and all that jazz.
What are you doing to get knocked up? OPKs, checking CM, using Ovia app to track other symptoms (I know everyone here loves FF), next cycle I'm going to start temping and trying pre-seed... and then all of the crazy diet things people "swear" helped them (like pineapple core to help implantation) ... figure it can't hurt!
Tell us about yourself: My husband and I have been married for one year. I run my own business so I'm admittedly always a little stressed/ over worked but I absolutely LOVE what I do! We have two small, ridiculously spoiled mutts that we consider our children and are very anxious to add some human children to our little family!
Ages (you and SO): 34/34
How many months have you been TTC? It's been a year, but we did have to take off a couple of months for Zika concerns.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? OPK's and charting
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) No kids, 2 cats. I love running, knitting, drawing. Used to be an awesome piano player and I'd love to get back into that.
We've just started with the RE, and I hope to get some answers and a plan soon.

I also felt shy at first about posting too. But I don't think you have to lurk for a couple of months to have "a right to post." I haven't been a member for too long, but my opinion is to jump in. Everyone is super friendly.

@jess0211 I live in a area that isn't part of the outbreak but the mosquitos that can possbily carry it are around. Been very nerve racking to say the least. I found a spray that said it fought against Zika but glad that the DEET is OK. puts my worrying mind at ease.
Mushy moment---thanks for all being so nice!
