  26 weeks - almost 3rd tri! When did that happen?!
  
  As big as Kale apparently...Um OK..
  
  No appointments til the 9th
  
  Lots of lower back and hip pain but my maternity belt has been helping a lot. Lots of waterworks too... Goodness gracious.
  
  Rant: I feel like I am back in first tri again with how exhausted I am and how everything smells again. So weird. Thankfully no first tri nausea though haha!
  
  As cliche as this sounds, we actually met at the coffeeshop/bookstore I worked at at the time. He was good friends with a guy I worked with so would come visit him and hang out on breaks then changed to hanging out with me haha!

  How far along are you? 25 weeks.

  
  

  How big is baby? A bag of popped popcorn.

  
  

  Appointments this week? Nothing until next week. I did get the results of my glucose test back, and I passed (yay! 50 points lower than last time, too!), buuut I'm anemic this pregnancy. So, if it's not one thing, it's another. OB will discuss iron supplements during my regular check up next week.

  
  

  Symptoms? Just tired, but I can't tell if that's pregnancy related or DS-is-an-unholy-terror related. Cutting canines + transitioning to one nap = clingy, angry, needy toddler, haha. He's wearing me out.

  
  

  Rant/Rave/Questions? So, I can't hate on DS for not feeling good, but when he's not throwing tantrums or refusing naps, he's been suuuuuper sweet. Brings his toys to come and sit in my lap and play with them, hugs all over the place. I just can't. This little boy is beyond precious.

  
  

  GTKY: How did you and your significant other meet? (I was gonna ask a New Year's question but there is already a thread) We met in college. His roommate wanted to date my best friend and invited her to DH's birthday dinner/party. She said she wouldn't go unless I went, so since my BF at the time was out of town, I got dragged along for the ride. So, I met DH at his own birthday party, where he was pissed off because his GF (who went to a different college) hadn't come to town. I don't think either of us had the greatest first impressions of each other, but we got to be pretty good friends when my best friend and his roommate started dating.

  Appointments this week? We met with our doula finally! 

  
  

  Symptoms? I am right along with the rest of y'all: tired! I don't think I am sleeping well at night because I just keep tossing and turning. 

  
  

  Rant/Rave/Questions? I treated myself to a bunch of new clothes today and it feels great to have stuff that fits! I am also really excited about these boots I got! I never buy myself new clothes. 

  
  

  GTKY: How did you and your significant other meet? (I was gonna ask a New Year's question but there is already a thread) His post-baccalaureate program and my summer internship, at an ivy league think tank devoted to ancient Greek philosophy/language/culture (#nerds), overlapped by three weeks. The first two weeks I was working so we didn't really hang out...just ate lunch at the same table and developed attractions. The second to last weekend he was in town, I invited him to a friend's birthday party. We went on a date everyday until he left a week later. Within a week of being gone he'd bought a plane ticket to visit. Thus we started a 3 year (2 years of which were international) long distance relationship. We've been together for 7 years now.
