WTF Jimmy... How do you manage to successfully combine adorable, hilarious, and disgusting all at the same exact time dude? This is what cooties look like.

Kids, man. Look out FTMs, this is when they feel as though they MUST have your hugs and kisses the most. It's like they KNOW...
You'd think he had been thrown in a blazing furnace when I was wiping his face off the way he carried on  :D

  • @AllyTheKid This is what my toddler looks like right now!  "No I don't need a tissue mommy!"

  • @wegme27 Is yours a runner too? If he sees me come at him with a tissue or a wipe, he bolts.
  • wtf reflux? Did you know that reflux can cause congestion in infants? I didn't, and when I called the nurse line at my pediatrician's office and complain about congestion, they suggest that it could be RSV. So there I am, freaking out that my baby has RSV, and it turns out she just has reflux. I've never been so relieved. Although I'm pretty bummed about the elimination diet I have to go on now. But still, at least it's not RSV!
  • @ball4768 Well, I'm glad it's not RSV :) Any idea what is causing the reflux?
  • @AllyTheKid Her ped is having me eliminate dairy and tomatoes from my diet. However, my older daughter also had reflux as an infant and it was just something that she eventually outgrew, it wasn't caused by a food sensitivity. This time, the ped is prescribing Zantac as well as the elimination diet, so I'm not sure that we will be able to tell if there is a food sensitivity. I'm thankful for the meds though, as it's been a rough few days for little Willow.
  • @ball4768 That was my next question, I'm glad you got some antacids! Jimmy had reflux when he was real little, but it was easy for us to tell when he was allergic to something when I was breastfeeding because his skin would breakout too along with reflux, so that's one thing you could look for to help determine food allergies.
  • @ball4768 I have to do the same thing. I haven't started the dairy free diet though because I was hoping the Zantac would be enough. I had to be on a diet for 3 months because of GD and I don't want to be on a diet again  :s.  But I saw blood in LOs diaper this morning so guess I'm going to have to suck it up.
  • @Ladybug2821 Good luck mama! I had to do a total elimination diet with DD1, but I've become very attached to my coffee with cream since then. :) Let me know if you find any good dairy substitutes or tips and tricks!
  • Wtf furnace and home warranty company!?!? Our furnace has been broken for over a week... And it's still not fixed. We're supposed to get a snow storm tonight so we are going to have to hunker down and stay warm. We still have emergency heat through our furnace but it uses a crazy amount of electric so that's already a crazy expense we are also now expecting. My dad was supposed to bring us some more space heaters like the one we have, but instead he brought these wall plug in, fire hazard looking things that I refuse to use. Brrrr.
  • @AllyTheKid yes!  He hates tissues and I usually end up with snot all over me when I try to sneak attack his runny nose.
