Any new symptoms or changes? Crazy, vivid dreams. Most of the nausea seems to have subsided.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Traveled 10 hrs (drive) yesterday to get to my parent's house. My lower back isn't happy today. Traveling 5.5 hrs Sunday to the ILs, and 4.5 hrs to get back home on Wednesday. I'm tired thinking about it all.
GTKY: What's one holiday tradition you have or want to pass onto your child(ren)?
We travel so much at the holidays right now but I really want to spend Christmas Eve/Christmas morning at home starting next year. I want them to have the awe of Santa coming and leaving them gifts. Then opening them all on Christmas Day.

My nausea is still in full swing, and I always bloat during the second half of my day no matter what I do.
Rants/Raves/Questions?
I nearly snapped at a secretary at work today (to be fair, she was being rude to me as usual. I'm outsourced so I can't do anything about it.). I'm a receptionist so I have to deal with people in person and over the phone a lot... and that is very difficult when I'm hormonal and ready to cry or get angry at any moment. Any tips on how to calm down?
GTKY: What's one holiday tradition you have or want to pass onto your child(ren)?
Annual ornaments. When I was growing up, we always got a tree ornament every year and wrote the year on it somewhere. It is fun to look back at a lifetime's worth of ornaments.

I haven't even called to arrange my first appointment yet. I will do that after I tell DH the big news on Christmas morning.
Any new symptoms or changes?
Still super tired and my nipples are sore but I don't know if that's from my nursing 17 month old who is getting 5 teeth right now or because of the new pregnancy.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I love this time of year! Although everyone is strapped for money, time, and patience, people are generally happier and kinder.
GTKY: What's one holiday tradition you have or want to pass onto your child(ren)? I cannot wait for my children to be old enough to help put up our Christmas tree and decorate it. I loved it as a child and I pray that they will, too.

making Christmas breakfast in our PJs! That's what we always did growing up, and it will be nice to carry on the tradition

new symptoms:
Nausea and few vomiting episodes. I didn't have this with my son at all. And I'm getting car sick when I'm not the driver. I did have that with my son. Oh and my hormones are still raging. (Poor DH)

I love that there has been no traffic on my way to work this week!
Holiday Tradition I would like passed on to my son:
Making Christmas cookies. And like a few others said the decorating and ornaments. Each of my ornaments is a little special to me. I loved unwrapping my moms ornaments when I was a kid. And I love how magical our living room feels.

Any new symptoms or changes? Nope I feel the same. Just some mild boob tenderness still.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I am dying to tell our parents over Christmas! Also it feels like cruel and unusual punishment to not have the first prenatal visit for another whole month, although I do understand why!

Upcoming appointments this week? I had one Wednesday. Baby is measuring a couple days smaller but US looked great and due date is the same.

we always got a new ornament for our tree every year. When I got my own home, I got all my ornaments from my childhood. I started this with my kids!

Upcoming appointments this week? I had a surprise appt on Monday. I had some pink discharge Sunday, and after experiencing a loss in July I was worried. My midwife did a quick ultrasound and we got to see the tiniest little babe! And a flicker of the heartbeat! My midwife said she thinks something irritated my cervix, and baby looked good! My real appt is next Friday 12/30.
Any new symptoms or changes? Some mild nausea hit this week. Only first thing in the morning. Eating eggs helps and then I feel better. And ZITS. Ugh
