How far along are you (OR how old is baby)? 39 weeks

How big is baby? Baby-sized. Er, watermelon-sized, I guess.

How are you feeling? Okay. I hit my wall on Monday, but I seem to have recovered somewhat. I'm really ready to meet him, though.

What's going on this week? Uh...Christmas! Next appointment with the midwife is next Thursday.

Rants/Raves/Questions: Nothing, really. If my body could start showing signs of labor, that would be great please and thank you. I'm not going to actively try and get things going, though.

GTKY (Stolen from Tuesday & Wednesday, which was also stolen from Friday. I'm so creative.): What family vacation are you excited to take your kids/kid on at some point? This is lame, but come on...Disney! I didn't go to Disney World for the first time until I was in my mid twenties. That place is freaking magical.

How big is baby? Born at 7lb 11oz

How are you feeling? Exhausted, stressed over BF, in love, fulfilled.....so many emotions!

What's going on this week? First pediatrician appt tomorrow!

Rants/Raves/Questions: Breastfeeding is really hard for me, sore nipples and still confused about when to pump. Thank god for sisters and girlfriends that have been through this!

we go to Deep Creek with FI's family every year, it will be so much different now. In a great way!!

@PensiveCrayon. Hang in there!! I went at 39w + 3 with zero warning (not dilated at appt earlier that week), so you never know. FX for you to meet your baby soon!!

I'm around! Maternity leave for me is basically Netflix while DS sleeps - sometimes I get to knit or read.

How far along are you (OR how old is baby)? DS is 4 weeks & 4 days today!

How big is baby?
We went in for his one month checkup yesterday and he weighs 7 lbs 11 oz and is 20 inches.

How are you feeling?
I'm good! I'm still getting some twinges near my scar, but nothing too bad.

What's going on this week?
DH took the week off for vacation and it's been good having him around. We've taken DS out of the house twice so far this week and we have two more times planned. I have a PP appointment next week and it'll be my first time taking DS anywhere alone!

Rants/Raves/Questions:
So far DS has been an easy baby. He's a good water, breast feeding is going well and he's not overly fussy. I just hope it lasts!

We're renting a beach house with friends who have a 2 year old son this summer. At this point I'm just looking forward to that. @PensiveCrayon we were just talking about doing a Disney cruise when DS is still little!

How far along are you (OR how old is baby)? 12 days old

How big is baby? 8lb 6oz as of yesterday

How are you feeling? Ok. Very tired. Nighttime awakenings are really adding up.

What's going on this week? We had a pediatrician appt this week which went well as LO is now above his birth weight and so we are allowed to let him wake us for feeds as opposed to us waking him. My mom visited today and my In Laws are here tomorrow and Sat and then we're spending Christmas with my family. Next week DH goes back to work

Rants/Raves/Questions: Not much else to report.

We do a family beach vacation every year in August which I'm looking forward to. Disney will be awesome but not for many more years. Will probably wait til LO has a sibling and they are both closer to 5.

5 weeks tomorrow!! Oh man is she getting big.

How big is baby?

I am betting about 9lbs. but I could be way off.

How are you feeling?

Physically I'm doing pretty good. I think I have thrush, and I'm worried about stiches being infected.

Mentally, not good. All I want to do is sleep. I don't leave the bed most days because I have absolutely no drive.

What's going on this week?

H just did his last shift until Christmas morning, so we are heading out of dodge for just over 2 days.

My baby & toddler are getting to big! I want them to stay small and snuggly forever.

Down to Colorado/Texas to a livestock sale. My dad took my baby sis and I to a sheep sale and it was an amazingly fun 3 days.

How far along are you (OR how old is baby)?

He'll be 3 weeks tomorrow.

How big is baby?
Monday he weighed in at 10lbs 7oz and 21 3/4 inches. He was born 9lbs 9 oz.

How are you feeling?
Really sore today. For some reason, my stomach is so tender to the touch.

What's going on this week?
Family Christmas #1 tomorrow night. Then, Christmas Eve we always open new Christmas pj's, drink hot chocolate, and watch a Christmas movie.

Rants/Raves/Questions:
Any body's kiddo hit a growth spurt between 2-3 weeks? DS has been wanting more formula, so we upped him to 4 oz, instead of his usual 3, and figured he'd be able to go longer than the usual 3 hrs. Now, he does good if he can make it 2- 2 1/2 hours before wanting to eat again.

Hands down, the beach! We're a beach loving family though. Never really been big into Disney. Maybe it's because I have only been when I was 3, so I obviously don't remember any of it. DH has never been to Disney, so he's not big on it either.
