Been reading about evening primrose oil. Advice? Information?

I've been taking 2 pills a day for a little more than a week. Have not tried inserting yet as I'm only just 38 weeks this week. Also get my first cervical check tomorrow so no idea if it's helping

OK, I just went and picked some up. I'm already 37+ so I figure I can start it. See if it helps. I was already dilated 1 cm two weeks ago

Been inserting one week (I'm 36 weeks), I'll find out tomorrow if it helped! I haven't taken any orally.

I've been taking about 2 capsules a day and on a few different occasions inserted one up there after poking it with a needle. I did notice an increase in heavy / thick whitish discharge after doing such, but that may have just been happening anyways! Who knows. What I hear is it can speed up labor when it happens by prepping the cervix so I'll def share more of my experience after I find out what labor is like for me!
