So I was clearing plates the other night when DH was discussing childcare plans for #3. Apparently his parents asked if I would be staying home (odd given they know I make substantially more than DH and we can't live off of his salary alone). He said "No, this baby will go to the same daycare as DS and DD. It will be very tight with 3 in daycare at once, but we'll just have to be careful with our monthly budget and cut back on certain luxuries like eating out or participating in certain trips/events" to which my MIL says in the snarkiest tone "well maybe you shouldn't have gotten pregnant with #3". Excussssseeeee meeeeee???? We do quite well for ourselves thank you, but sorry that not all of us have c-level spouses and a lifestyle driven by preference for material goods over a big family. Now I REALLY want to keep going with our hopes/plans for 5 kids.
Edit to clarify The wording in my second to last sentence is odd. DH and I are NOT c-levels haha. Boy wouldn't that be nice! My FIL is and they (my ILs) prefer to live with more luxuries rather than a larger family with a more modest lifestyle. They literally cannot understand our desire (DH and I) to leave on a budget and live modestly in order to have a bigger family
@Elyse1384 Whaaaaaat?! I cannot believe she actually said that. Sounds like a bitter, unhappy lady to me.
Seems trivial in comparison, but I just want to give a big ole' WTF shout-out to all my local drivers (who are also commuters). This is Alaska. We are known for snow and ice and driving long distances. So why the ever-loving eff are you such dumbass drivers? Why do you feel it is okay to "merge" into another lane without looking or signaling until someone (like....oh.....myself) has to blast my horn in hopes that you'll quit moving into my lane before smashing into the side of my vehicle. Why do a overwhelming terrifying amount of you do not have adequate tires, ESPECIALLY on vehicles that are only 2WD? Why? WHY?! This place is just like Game of Thrones: YOU KNOW WINTER IS COMING. You had time to prepare. Take the bus if you can't get the right gear but for the love of God please do not knowingly endanger fellow drivers because you think it will be "fine" for 5 months out of the year to ride on summer tires in a 2WD car with the conditions we get, because it's not.
P.S.: I know accidents happen, even for the most prepared and cautious individuals. I just was grumpy about nearly getting side-swiped first thing this morning. Carry on.
WTF alarm company....we set an appointment tomorrow when my husband was going to be home for a reason. Imagine my surprise when someone knocks at my door at 830 and the kids and I are still in pajamas with my house a wreck saying I am here for the alarm. Not the best way to start the day.

I have yet to have a therapy session that I haven't had to wait out a behavior and waste at least 20 min of billable time, or block myself from physical aggression. Wasn't the full moon last week? Peace out at 6:00p and off until Jan.3rd! ONE MORE HOUR!
WTF parents?! If you can't make it to your scheduled appointment please call and cancel. I covered our outpatient clinic this afternoon and 2 out of 5 patients showed up. The rest were no shows. There goes my productivity.
Wtf sciatic nerve pain! Id like to be able to walk in the mornings.
Also WTf to my FIL who accidently used the special wrapping paper I sent to their house to wrap my gender reveal present for the kids. He get bad and texted me. But come on! It's not even Christmas paper!
@elyse1384 I got a similar comment from my MIL. She said I was a "bad mother" because I work (I'm a partner in my law firm) and we shouldn't be having a third child if I can't take care of it myself.
