I went to a doctor's appointment and got lost in a basic 3 story building. Literally went up to the third floor, when my appointment was on the 2nd (HOW did I miss an ENTIRE floor?!) And then got turned around when leaving and couldn't find which side of the building my car was on.

The layout of the building was REALLY not that complicated.

This was a few weeks ago but...I wanted to reheat a buffalo chicken dip to eat before leaving for a grocery run. We don't have a microwave (choice) and I was heating it up in a pan on the stove.

Come back from my shopping trip and our house smells amazing like buffalo chicken. Yep. Left it on the stove to simmer while we are gone shopping. Oops. At least it was on low and the shopping trip was only 30 minutes...

I made my breakfast protein shake this morning and put the frozen berries away in the pantry cabinet with the canned goods. Thankfully after about 10 minutes I realized and rectified my error.

I forgot the bag of clothes at my kids school that my friend had seriously just texted me about reminding me and I left my daughters special blanket at school yesterday. Thank goodness we have a back up.

I can't seem to put together articulate sentences anymore when I speak. I'm always trying to unlock my office door with my house key. Randomly forget what I'm doing... or forget something someone has told me and ask them the same question like 3 times over the course of a day or two. Basically my brain is jello at this point.

I can't remember words when I'm in the middle of a sentence. And names are even harder. I never forget names. I feel fuzzy in the head

I like a few of you can not do sentences any more! My best friend who is studying to be an OB nurse thinks I am the funnest thing ever because I will just stop in the middle of talking to her and forgot complete words. Completing my finals this week I had to triple check everything because a lot of my sentences just did not make sense.

I was at a staff meeting and our principal gave us a sheet with NAME: ________ at the top.
Principal: Everyone put their name on it.
I actually wrote the word "name" on the sheet in the blank. I was like, "that's it, I am officially done."

My school sells gift cards as a fundraiser. My mom wanted $750 worth of Lowes cards for Christmas. I ordered $750 to the gas station instead. Doh! Luckily, they love me and took the gas station ones back and are now getting me Lowes. That would have been an expensive mistake. Not me, but my sister paid the phone company her entire checking account rather than the amount for the bill. They would not give the money back and just kept crediting her each month.

Went on a weekend trip this weekend to visit family. Forgot my bag at home. Went to grocery store to get food for my DD and toiletries. Forgot toiletries. Luckily my SIL had some spare big t shirts and maternity leggings!

I also forgot to send my son a water bottle or choir clothes to school today.

Went to my dad's scans with him yesterday and when he was done I just got up and left, left my coat, my purse, etc. just sitting in the waiting room. Went down the elevator and almost left before I realized I wasn't wearing my coat, went back up and saw my purse and water bottle too. Doh.

I also put dryer sheets in the refrigerator.

I've been putting my milk in the pantry instead of my cereal box. I drove to a different branch for work the other day- it was almost 15 minutes further than where I work!

I keep messing up words too! I was trying to say I have a brain freeze and it came out as I have freezer burn.

I'm a math teacher, and I keep making dumb mistakes while doing examples on the board. Like a lot. And really dumb. Today I wrote that 4/4=4... And I teach freshman so they barely speak, so they don't correct me. I offered bonus points to catch my mistakes!

Sometimes pregnancy brain is dangerous:
I decided to hold the colander while dumping boiling pasta into it instead of setting it in the sink first. Don't worry just a very mild burn on my fingers as a result.

I went to one of my favorite places for lunch a couple weeks ago...after I ate I opened my purse to pay and realized I didn't have my wallet... guy was nice enough to let me go home and come back and pay...drove all the way home only to realize my wallet was in my car so All of it for nothing. My 30 min lunch turned into an hour and a half! Pregnancy brain sucks!!!

Put my 3/4 of the way used restaurant giftcard in my brothers xmas gift box. Saw the new one that was meant for him and replaced it. Good thing I realized it before giving him. Two different restaurant giftcards too. Doh!

I was making a lasagna the other day. It was 4 layers and I was like "omg I made this perfectly." Then I turned around and realized I had not utilized the ground beef that I had made or ricotta cheese. I had to peel back all the layers of noodles and sauce to add those key ingredients.

Also my fiancé and I were playing Scattergories last night and I lost. I always win!

I took a series of iPhone selfies with my toddler and couldn't figure out why the camera settings kept showing up in our pictures. Um yeah, I was taking freaking screenshots rather than just a normal selfie picture.

During my last pregnancy, I made a fruit smoothie with no fruit! When I went to drink it, I couldn't figure out why I could only taste the almond milk and flax seed oil haha.

So so far my memory is OK this pregnancy. Though I did get a "tile mate" package for Christmas to prepare for all of the things I will likely lose track of in the coming year.

My husband is really disorganized and misplaces everything. I'm the exact opposite and pride myself on never misplacing things. Until yesterday. I lost my phone for about 4 hours. It was on vibrate so it was barely making noise. I eventually found it in our pantry up on a shelf. I didn't even remember being in there during the day.
