cough medications prior to egg retrival

Welp, I can't sleep. Coughing  from this bad cold/sinus infection and I don't know where else to ask such a specific question.  I NEED sleep but don't know if it's safe to take Nyquil or Mucinex DM with my egg retrieval as soon as 4 days from today.  

Does anyone know??
