NBR - Cuisinart Food Processor Recall

Hey ladies, I saw this tonight and thought I'd pass the info along:

Long story short, the metal blades for certain models have been breaking and people have found bits of metal in their food. Request your replacement blade on Cuisinart's website (which is super slow right now. I'm assuming there is A LOT of traffic on that site tonight).

So much for making any recipes that require a food processor this Christmas...sigh.

    I just requested mine yesterday! Never noticed a problem (and I used it literally the day before they issued a recall) but better safe than sorry. :)
