Since I'm due at the end of the month, I'm usually the last to experience certain things. So I'm just wondering if anyone else still has their Anatomy Scan to do or if everyone has passed that appointment...
@Taylor72 How far along will your every two week appointments start? I'm a STM, but completely forgot at what stage/week those started...I was planning to ask my OB at my next appointment on Jan 9.
@KirstinH88 they start at 28 weeks, my appointments have been "off" since about 13 weeks. Instead of going on the even weeks like most, I have been going on the odd weeks so technically the time between my next appointment and the first 2 week appointment will be 2.5 weeks but then that should put me back on track.
@KirstinH88 I'm only 21W6D right now, so looks like 5 days ahead of you. We should be going through the same stuff around the same time, however I am a FTM so I know nothing haha. I had my AS a couple of weeks ago
I have my last appointment with my current OB (we are moving on a Friday) on Wednesday. I'm 26 weeks so it should just be a weigh in, heartbeat check, blood pressure, urine sample. I'm honestly very annoyed at my two OB offices at the moment. My current OB does not administer the glucose test until 28 weeks, however the OB office where I'm transferring wants me to have it done between 24 and 27 weeks, however they will not order the test for me until I've first met with a nurse for an hour-long intake and then a week later I'm examined by a doctor. So by then I'll be pushing 30 weeks… Both offices are acting cross and frustrated at me when there's literally nothing I can do about it! I am in an unusual position of having to move so close to my third trimester, not something I would've undertaken lightly and am stressed out of my mind already. I really wish one or the other office would give me some sort of special consideration. Honestly, the bottomline is I'm not very worried about the testing, this is my fifth pregnancy and I've never even been borderline, but stop acting like it's my fault for delaying it. I can't order it and administer it to myself! Thanks for letting me vent, ladies. Good luck this week!
Supposed to have my glucose test on Thursday, but the lab called and cancelled my appointment but told me that I can do a walk in instead. I need to do it before the end of the year b/c my insurance is changing and I don't know when I'll have my new cards, so I can either try to get them to reschedule me for next week (when I don't have childcare and would have to find someone), or just go and hope I don't have to wait 5 years. Boooooo.
No regular appointments this week, but I have a growth ultrasound on Thursday. Baby girl as measuring a little small at our anatomy scan 3 weeks ago, at about the 15th percentile. So, they ordered another ultrasound to check for growth. I am excited to see her again, but also nervous that she is not going to be growing right. My little sister will be in town for a week so I am hoping she will tag along with me so I am not alone.
I have a midwife appointment next week at 24 weeks. And then I will have another at 28 weeks. After that it goes to 2 weeks. So, 30 weeks, 32 weeks, 34 weeks, 36 weeks and then 37, 38, 39, 40.

Appointment this morning! Quick and uneventful. DH got to hear Nugget's heartbeat for the first time in person (it started slow then sped up while we were listening). Fundal height measured for the first time - 23 cm at 24w5d. I had to look it up because I had no idea what was being measured!
Also I had no idea that I only have one more "every four weeks" appt and then it switches to every two weeks. Is it time for that already?!?
I had my glucose test and a regular check-in appointment today. I'm on the opposite end of @KirstinH88, due at the beginning of the month. My next appointment is in three-ish weeks (29 weeks), then it's every two weeks after that until 35 weeks (beginning of March) when I'll go to every week.

@KirstinH88 I believe you're just one day before me, right? As I mentioned last week, I had my AS on Friday and then I just had a follow up appointment today. Next appointment for me is in 6 weeks (January 31) which will be a glucose test and an appointment. That feels really far away (I'll be 27ish weeks). Wondering if the more frequent appointments start after that?
@momtoleo Yep. One day ahead of you I believe. I'm surprised that your appointments are so far apart! But Yea, based on what others are saying, it should switch to every two weeks once we are around 28-30 weeks.
Funny how different each practice can be @KirstinH88 mine seems to be very conservative. No anatomy scan a day before 20 weeks, glucose not till 28, and having appointments every two weeks doesn't start till 34 weeks. Very interesting!
My practice will only do the Glucose Challenge Test between week 24-28, preferably closer to week 28. The only reason they would have you do the GCT prior to week 24 is if you had a history of GD.
@mrsstuessy not until early February- which I am grateful for. For now I'm just trying to eat all the things while trying not to put SO much pressure on it. They wouldn't do anything until then anyway so for now we just wait and see.

I had a regular check up today. Everything looks good except that I gained 9 lbs this month! ugh! I didn't gain anything last month so obviously I made up for that. I just have to get my glucose test done before my next appointment on 1/16. I'll be almost 26 weeks at that point so I'm not sure if they'll have me come back at 28 or just start having me come every 2 after 30. Crazy to think how fast the third trimester is coming up, but man, I'm so ready to be done and grateful it's going this fast.
@beckyf321, I feel you on the weight thing! I was so excited at my appointment before this last one that I hadn't gained and then this time gained 7! Blah.
I just had my 24 week appt today at 24+5 and all was well. Got the results of my anatomy scan and they said baby boy's anatomy is perfect! My next appt is Jan 12 at 28 weeks (wow! That feels like a milestone!) and I have to do the glucose test two days before that appt. I'm a little anxious about the glucose test... I guess I'll just do my best after Christmas and before I go in for that.
Had my appointment yesterday and all was well ... heartbeat 140s and normal blood pressure etc. I lost a pound and fundal height was 24, and even though I'm 26 weeks I guess that's still considered in the normal range. I was supposed to switch OBs after this, but I'm going to drive back from our new place for one more appointment in 2 weeks bc I can get the glucose test in house here instead of going to Labcorp (& by the time I'd done the new patient intake appointment and then exam by my new OB I would have been at almost 30 weeks for the test). Good stuff.
Had my glucose screen this morning along with a regular appointment. Got to hear the baby's heart rate on the doppler (144!) and then stuffed my face with a full blown breakfast from McDonald's.
My next appointment is in 4 weeks, and I'll get my rhogham shot then. I'm not sure when they start every two weeks?
I had the glucose test yesterday and it did not make me feel good. I didn't throw up but I was really glad my husband was there to drive me to get food afterwards because I was practically comatose. Other than that the appointment went well, I think....everything is a little foggy. Ha.
