Vaginal birth or c section

For women who have had both. Which did u prefer pain wise? I've had 2 c sections considering VBAC this time if allowed. Prefer after pain from c section or during pain from vaginal birth?

    Everyone's experience will be different and there is really no way to compare.  I had a vaginal birth and recovery was super easy, almost no pain.  My SIL also had a complication free vaginal birth and could barely walk for 2 weeks.
