I thought I would have outside baby by now so no plans made. The town Christmas parade is canceled because it will be too cold... i see a tough weekend ahead. I hope I spend it on l&d!!! Still a tough weekend but it beats cabin fever in -4 degrees.
Our town's Christmas festival is tomorrow so we'll head up there with LO in tow. It's usually a low key thing, with a few local artists/craftsmen and a Santa. It will be god to get out of the house for a little while, though, and maybe get LO's picture with Santa.
My hope is for us to get out of the house (it's been raining for a few days) with the baby and the dogs and go for a walk. That's all. Baby steps. Oh yeah, I need to get some wrapping done too.
DH is taking a half day and I'm trying to convince DD2 to come out to lunch, but she feels guilty since DD1 is still in school a couple hours. chiropractor, doula visit, and community movie night tomorrow. Sunday I have zero plans, due date. I want to have this baby.
DH took all next week off so I'm excited for that! This weekend will probably be low key. Harvey's birth announcements come today! So I'll probably address and send them this weekend. If it's not super cold I think we're going to try to go out to breakfast or lunch.
Dh is on goodwill until January 6th so he's out doing that now and will be home soon. A new theater opened that serves actual meals and has reserved seats so we are going to go see the new Starwars today. And now that it's not freezing or pouring I'm going to go for a walk before he gets home.
Tomorrow we have no plans and none on Sunday either, really hope we have a baby this weekend!

We have new patio furniture being delivered today (early Christmas gift from my mom). So tomorrow is probably assembly day. Squeeze in as much walking as I can all weekend. FI and I are just trying to spend quality time together before baby gets here.
H has been working super hard and has been on nights for half the week, so I'll just be happy to see more of him this weekend. Tonight we're going to see Rogue One at the new luxury theater two blocks away from our apartment, and tomorrow we've got his squadron Christmas party to attend.
No plans to have a baby this weekend.

Just a whole lot of sitting around and waiting. The weather is supposed to be terrible this weekend here in the northeast.
I am taking the upcoming week off ahead of my due date and then my work is closed for a week between Christmas and New Years, so hopefully a baby will come during that time. If anything, I'm looking forward to not having to set an early alarm starting tomorrow!
H's Christmas party tonight. Thy normally do a fancy dinner but the owner decided to do low key at a nice Irish pub this year. Cool with me - jeans and a sweater sounds good since it's crazy cold out. I'm looking forward to hanging out with my husband!!!! I don't care about anyone else, when we're both here for the last month it's insanity so I'm excited to have a conversation we can finish.
We have 'Christmas' at my brothers tomorrow since my Neice is with her mom for Christmas this year. Sunday I need to buy teacher gifts, finish H's presents and buy stocking stuffers for the family. Oh and get a Costco membership since we've decided on Kirklands Organic formula for the babies. Organic/non-GMO and makes Enfamil and Similac look like highway robbery. This girls loves to find good quality at a great price!
After a week of not sleeping at night, I hope to sleep this weekend! We are desperate so even though we have a rock n play, we bought the self rocking one for 50% off at target today. Hopefully that works. We have tried: pack n play napper, pack n play bassinet, cosleeper between us, swing, rock n play, crib...the only place she'll sleep at night is on my chest.
No set plans other than that. Mil left last night. Kinda relieved! My brother comes tomorrow but will be staying with my parents so that won't be a huge bother. My mom is bringing us pizza tonight. first night this week I won't be cooking for mil!
Tonight is "date night" which just means we will maybe go out to dinner (DD1 tags along for date nights). Tomorrow idk what we are doing during the day, but in the afternoon/evening we will be delivering a gift to a kid who has a parent in prison via the organization Angel Tree, so we are excited to do that. Sunday is church and a potluck after church involving a chili cook off so I might make some of my turkey/veggie chili... mainly because I'm picky and probably won't want to eat anyone else's. Oh I should also get bottles and pump parts in order this weekend finally
2yo DS was projectile vomiting last night, seems to be getting over it so....pending he is alright:
Tonight is supposed to be girl's night at my sister's. Thinking of packing up my pumping stuff and LO and still going as long as DS still seems okay Sat - DH's company Christmas party during the day at one of the provider's ranch, DH encouraged to bring his gun, billed as kid friendly... not sure what to think, what to wear, whether to go Sat night - Christmas HH with my girlfriends Sun - rest and recover from Sat
Today: helped husband do some stuff with some furniture he built. Breastfed twice: one successful and one complete fail. Ate some pound cake.
Tomorrow: my mom is coming over to watch LO while i get ready to go out to Fogo de Chao for an annual friends get together. Im thinking meat fest will be good for my anemia
Sunday: hopefully get back into the swing of realtor life... this kid has sure interrupted thise efforts! Now I have to learn how to make some money to support her
Also @DiFazette one of my friends raves about Kirkland formula! Her boys couldnt tolerate the pricier formula but costco brand was
Both yesterday and today have been very stressful, and it's taking a toll on my body. My upper back/ribs hurt bad and my chest feels tight. This in addition to all the other symptoms of being ginormously pregnant of course. If I have to hear one more woman tell me (why is it always women? Have a little sympathy!) that I am absolutely going to have her late I'm gonna slap a b*itch. We're supposed to get another storm this weekend, so I am staying home and watching movies, probably baking and decorating more cookies and possibly starting up a new sewing project.
Supposed to get some bad weather this weekend, plus it is flipping cold. So we will be looking for lots of walking places. Did Costco tonight. Went through every aisle. Both my brother's get into state today, but I won't see them for a few days. Tomorrow is one of their birthdays and commencement, but with the questionable weather and impending labor, we unfortunately will not be making the 2 hour trip to be there. So basically we will be keeping warm, walking, and seeing if these contractions step up their A game so we can meet this baby!
@cayaylonglegs My first baby free outing was to the grocery store too. It was so weird. I felt like I was missing something. It was pretty nice to load up the cart and sip Starbucks though.
No plans here. My parents come tomorrow so I'm excited about that. So my brother and his family will be over this weekend too I'm sure. Only catch is DH came home from work not feeling well. Hopefully it's nothing (he's a hypochondriac and had an employee go home sick). I think he's going to sleep in the guest room though.
@sourlemon - ahhh rough!! We did the same thing with DD1- but it was a FULL price mamaroo lol- there is a setting called "car ride"... we never regretted that purchase!!
@Toller my mom probably would have loved that. When I was a baby I would only sleep in the car. She drove for hours every night until one day she discovered she could set my car seat on top of the running dryer and I was fooled. Your way sounds much safer!
@Toller DH was looking at a mamaroo but $$$. While we could afford it, I'd rather skip it. So 40 bucks for this self rocking thing is a cheaper start. We seem to have everything but a mamaroo!
Glad to say last night went better. Was up with fussy mcfusserson from 9-11 but then she slept between the other feedings! Once without the rocking initiated and once with.
Of course we are having like hurricane winds here so I was up listening to think thunk around in the yard wondering what broke with that gust for about an hour after the 2am feeding. still waiting for the sun to wake up (as dd1 puts it) to assess damage. So add that to the weekend list. Last time it was this bad the steel poles on our pool fence snapped! I'm hoping last night's thunks were just patio furniture falling over!
@sourlemon I'm north of you but the wind was CRAZY last night! Our patio stuff flipped, and we lost an outdoor Christmas decoration but that appears to be all.
Looks like no major damage. Pool fence was fine. Lots of tipped furniture and crap all over the yard. I think every leaf from my neighbors tree (20 feet from our wall) is in our yard/pool. And lots of trash from who knows where. But thankfully nothing expensive broke!
