How far along are you? 13 weeks

How big is baby? Clownfish - hello, baby Nemo!

Upcoming appointments this week? Nothing until 1/4

Any new symptoms or changes? Finally starting to feel a bit better - food is seeming appetizing again, and I had my first iced latte in ~6 weeks this morning. Hooray!

Rants/Raves/Questions? In a happy place after getting good NIPT results on Tuesday - healthy boy sounds pretty awesome

GTKY: Which of your parents are you the most like and why? Definitely a mix of both. I'm outgoing like my mom, but more analytic like my dad. I do, however, look just like my dad.

How far along are you? Due 6/1. 16 weeks! This pregnancy is flying by.

How big is baby? Size of an avocado.

Upcoming appointments this week? Had one Monday. Everything looks great, HR was 156 and SCH is status quo. Wishing it was gone though. Praying at my AS it's magically disappeared.

Any new symptoms or changes? FINALLY feeling human again. More energy, sleeping better and my appetite is back 100%.
I've been having a weird racing heart rate (110-125 resting) at various times during the day so my OB is sending me to see a cardiologist. Making the appointment today. I have zero concerns that this means anything, but because I'm high risk they have to check out everything.

***TW*** Mentioning a pregnancy loss...
If you pray in any way shape or form, please add our dear friends to your thoughts/prayers. They found out yesterday at the AS that baby has a severe heart defect and will not survive. They are meeting their angel tomorrow at 21 weeks. This is an extremely close family friend and a couple who we adore and love dearly. We are just completely broken for them. Please please pray for their hearts as they walk through the next steps.

GTKY: Which of your parents are you the most like and why?
I am literally a mini version of my mom (she's 5'10 and I'm 5'4) but I look exactly like her. I'm quirky and punctual like my dad and my love for cleaning/organisation comes from him. I'm motivated, strong, opinionated and a care taker like my mom.

I thought my nausea was gone but it's been pretty terrible the last couple of days (kewl) and bad headaches and dry moth. But that's it.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm excited for my appointment today! Otherwise nothing excites me and I've been kind of miserable all week haha

I think I'm more like my dad. I'm pretty laid back. There are some characteristics from my mom that I actively try to avoid.

Upcoming appointments this week? Nope. Nothing until after Christmas

Any new symptoms or changes? I am very physically uncomfortable. My abdomen feels stretched to the max, like I'm having a growth spurt but my body isn't growing fast enough to accommodate it. It makes even the simplest movements horribly uncomfortable. I basically feel like I just left a 4 hour sitting at a buffet all the time, and it's killing my appetite and sleep.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Other than above, I'm feeling pretty good so that's a rave. It makes me feel like a new person to not be nauseous 24/7.

GTKY: Which of your parents are you the most like and why?
My dad passed when I was small but I'm sure even if he were around, he'd be no match for how much I'm like my mom. We have the same mannerisms, walk, similar personality, and the older I get the more I look just like her. As a teacher I found my mother's phrases often coming out of my mouth and it was scary.

Upcoming appointments this week? I just had one today! I had my 1st tri scan for Down syndrome and such. Everything looked great and the doc was 85% sure on gender!

Any new symptoms or changes? I'm feeling great! It's amazing that I'm not sick like my last pregnancy!

**tw - Stressful week! My nephew was born this week via a 3.5 day induction! Mommy had preclampsia and went blind while driving and had to call 911 to come find her. She was having silent migraines and at risk of a stroke or heart attack. So it was best for baby to come out. Mom is doing great! Baby boy Fisher is doing really well considering he was born at 33w6d! He's still in NICU but making great progress and getting milk for the first time today!

GTKY: Which of your parents are you the most like and why? Dads personality - outgoing, friendly and loud! Mom's creativity and nurturing/mommy traits. I'm definitely 50/50 on their looks but I think as I age, more like my mom.

Definitely my dad. We're both very type A and have dry senses of humor.

Any new symptoms or changes? I'm craving pepperoncinis like crazy and slowly getting more energy.

I always thought I was just like my mom, but as I grow older, I see so much of my Dad in my personality. We are both stubborn, loyal, sensitive, hardworking, and are very laid back until you have us fired up.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Yeah... WHY THE F IS MY NAUSEA NOT GONE. I still feel almost as sick as the first tri, and actually almost vomited for the first time, twice, yesterday. Also these headaches need to gtfo. On the plus side, one more day of getting my DD ready for school then 2.5 weeks of gloriously sleeping in.

GTKY: Which of your parents are you the most like and why? Soooo much my dad. We look exactly alike. We're also both stubborn, outgoing, and analytical. I'm like my mom in that I can cook hahahaha

How far along are you? 14 weeks

How big is baby? peach..or as my husband said this morning "Big enough to be noticed" bc Im def showing now.

Upcoming appointments this week? not until next week

Any new symptoms or changes? nope feeling very good. Made the complete switch to maternity pants so essentially I am in my pjs from now until about September.

Rants/Raves/Questions? we are thinking abiut going Team Green this time around. We found out with our son. I will only have the Anatomy Scan if things go as planned so I kind of have one shot so need to decide. Has anyone found out and then not found out the next time? Would you not find out again?

GTKY: Which of your parents are you the most like and why? I dont really know my fathet and what I do know I do not like. I am very much like my mother in looks and personality.

Any new symptoms or changes? Getting my appetite back finally and stopped losing weight.

GTKY: Which of your parents are you the most like and why? I'm a good mix between my mom and dad. I'm very empathetic like my mom and we both are accepting of all people, but we're also both very emotional and can be difficult to deal with. I get my smarts from my dad but we're both bad in social situations unless the wine is flowing (no I'm not drinking while pregnant). There's a lot I don't like in either of my parents that I've tried to recognize it in myself and not be that way.
