C SECTION after Vaginally Delivery with 1st

I am scheduled for a c section on the 24th. I had my first son Vaginally he was 6 lbs 10 oz. very small and got stuck on his way out. doctor tried everything he could to get him out but had to resort to vacuum. he spent 5 days in NICU . it was just a really bad experience. anyways, I am terrified of this c-section! I have so many emotions about leaving my son & am just scared of the thought of it. looking for any good/encouraging stories. it would really ease my mind. thank you ladies!
