Why my SO is awesome!

Mine went grocery shopping and cooked dinner yesterday because I was being super lazy!

Re: Why my SO is awesome!

  • My SO is awesome becuase we went to his Christmas party last night and he went way above and beyond making sure I had a good time.

@Shan870 I'd probably die from shock if DH ever cooked dinner, your SO is definitely awesome!

  • @Nxy I'm happy you all had a good time. My Husband can probably cook better than me ;)
  • I am not sure what a DH is (darling husband?), but my husband is pretty awesome!!  I am not trying to brag, but he deserves A LOT of credit.  Just in the last couple weeks, he's done things like:

-Helped me make a ton of sugar cookies for a party. He made three of the batches of dough and rolled and baked cookies while I took a nap!
-Gets me whatever food I want, whenever I want it.  I am obviously not trying to pack on the pounds yet, but I am a super picky eater and have been craving really hearty foods.
-Offered to clean my bathroom!  He also cleaned his :)
  • My DH is always awesome (and @LandS2016, the D can be anything, in this case, Dear or Darling works, but in other contexts it could be more like Dick head, HAHA), but ever since this BFP hes been great.  He is super worried about another loss, so he is always making sure I have enough water, making me food, and going above and beyond.  This time of year, I make a lot of cookies for family and gifts, and hes been helping me clean up, and even decorate them.  And best of all, after a baking spree he will rub my feet because they are so tired from baking! I Love my Husband!

  • @LandS2016 You got it right. DH = dear/darling husband. DD = dear/darling daughter. DS = dear/darling son.

I love reading the sweet things everyone's husbands are doing. :-)
  • He scooped out some ice cream and a piece of cake for me while I was putting our son down. Didn't even ask for it.

  • Mine has been doing it all lately, but then again I've been the one working and he's home way more with school. Two jobs and working 6/7 days doesn't leave much time for else so I'll fold the clothes. I'd seriously be lost without him lately. It's super nice coming home to home cooked meals.
  • Mine ran downstairs and got me saltines and water while I was laying by the toilet ready to get sick this morning, even though he was running late. He's been helping a ton lately with how sick I've been <3

  • My DH brought me a sub for lunch (and told me to kiss lunchmeat goodbye after that one). I'm just surprised because I thought he'd be really nuts about it.

It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

  • My hubby went with me to participate in my weekly ballet class. He is such a trooper! Good thing too! When I did a set of slow turns it set off my nausea BIG TIME! He drove me home, and took all the turns slowly so I wouldn't lose it. Love him!

  • Hubby has been super amazing! He's really worried about another loss, so he has been doing everything for me lol. Gets me whatever food I want, just generally there for me. Also puts up with my crazy mood swings (hopefully those will pass soon!) So grateful for him!!

  • @Aaronandaryn My DH is the same way.  We had a loss in july and so now hes super over protective.  He wont even let me carry any of the heavy grocery bags.  My mood hasnt been too bad, but he is putting up with me crashing hard at 930 every night!  So nice to have supportive DH's at our side!

  • @Aaronandaryn Yes, we were known to stay up past 11 most nights.  We don't get up until 7, so 930 is super early for us, and poor DH is a light sleeper who doesn't fall asleep well, so he's been spending a few hours by himself while I sleep.
