Everyone keeps asking me for Christmas gift ideas for my daughter and I'm drawing a total blank. What are some must haves on your list for baby? Or what are some current toys or items you love that you'd recommend?
We got some plastic blocks, stacking cups, textured balls, and one of those stacking ring toys. Right now Abby is all about teething toys so I'll get a couple for her stocking. I think my family is going to mostly get clothes. Her favorite toy right now is a crinkly book about cat tails from jellycat--I think they make several "tail" books, so I might ask for others.
Clothes, teethers, a jumparoo, cart cover, the texture balls, and I'm sure my mom will crochet her a new hat. I asked my family to get that stuff but I need to find something little for Santa to give her because my boys were asking what Santa might bring her. Thank goodness they asked because I had kind of forgotten. We have a decent amount of family and so I get a little distracted with making sure I get everyone something and get all the stocking stuffers for the kids and my hubby. I have a list and a budget and I have almost everyone checked off!
Clothes, books, and wipes are always appreciated. Other things might include sippy cups, spoons, plastic bowls, puzzles, soft blocks, baby toothbrush or comb, teething toys, robez shoes, indestructible books, teething necklace for you...
The few toys that I put on his list are to help with sitting, crawling, and brain development, plus a couple of bath toys and books. Otherwise, I requested 6 & 9 month clothing.
I'm not worried about my parents as they are good about sticking to lists but who knows what the in-laws will do. I think they may just do books, clothes, and a contribution to his education fund.
