4 weeks. Haven't been to the dr yet so they may change the date but I'm pretty sure it'll be aug 19

last year we went on a cruise to Singapore, Thailand, Myanmar and Malaysia.

Upcoming appointments this week? Getting blood work done Monday and then again Wednesday to make sure things are progressing nicely. Then first appointment Thursday! I think it's just a check-in/informational visit with the OB - no ultrasound or anything. Probably a good thing since I doubt I'd see anything and then be worried until the next appt haha.
Any new symptoms or changes? Same old sore boobs and cramping over here. Waiting to see if any nausea hits this week...
Rants/Raves/Questions? Rave: Went for a trail walk with DH and our pup today..it was chilly but sunny! Felt good to be outside and get some exercise. Now I'm making chicken breasts stuffed with artichokes and spinach for dinner. YUM.
GTKY: What's your favorite vacation you've ever taken? I mentioned this in the intro thread, but DH is from France and we met while I was studying abroad there. I went back overseas for a year after graduating college and we took a trip in his family's RV to the South of France! Most beautiful place I've ever been. Gorged myself on mussels and croissants (not together) the whole trip. Second favorite would be our honeymoon in Greece - Ahhh vacation... Why can't I be a millionaire who travels for a living?

Upcoming appointments this week? First appointment which is a phone call with a nurse to go over medical history. It's interesting to see how it seems to vary between many of us.
Any new symptoms or changes? Feeling less tightness and cramping than I was last weekend and earlier this week. Seem to be taking more bathroom breaks than usual and have had minor twinges of nausea, but really nothing too bad. Major bloating is going on!
Rants/Raves/Questions? Anyone have an idea as to why some of us won't have appointments until at least 8 weeks, and others have them sooner? I'm sure it has to do with medical history, but also wonder if it's based on how different practices operate and the reasoning behind it.
GTKY: What's your favorite vacation you've ever taken? DH and I went to Iceland in 2012. It had been my dream to go since I was little. Now it's become such a hot spot for tourism; I kind of preferred when it was my own quirky desire
@secicc12 your travels to France sound incredible, especially being able to experience it with locals.

I went last Thursday because of bad cramping. They did an ultrasound so I got to see the sac and the yolk, but too early to see a baby. I go back on January 3rd.
Any new symptoms or changes?
Apparently I have a cyst on my ovary which has caused the cramping. Fatigue and sore boobs have kicked in. Still waiting for nausea, cravings and aversions to happen.

Rave... my parents are so amazing. They babysat my son all day today so DH and I could wrap Christmas presents. When they brought him home we went out for pizza and went to a Christmas lights show and just had the best time. My dad has Parkinsons and is having a really tough time with it, so it is just so special to see my son with him. I can't wait to tell them about baby #2 on Christmas!

Hawaii for our honeymoon. We spent a week in Maui and a week in Kauai.... can't wait to go back there someday!

Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm SO sick. I'm going to the Dr today at 10:45. All the OTC stuff isn't touching it. I'm miserable. And on top of that I think my husband has influenza (his DA doesn't participate in flu shots because he's scared of needles).
GTKY: What's your favorite vacation you've ever taken? Oh man. Our probably all inclusive trips to Mexico. I love the beach and ocean. And eating and drinking all I want!
