Visual disturbances with meds?

 In the past couple months I have had some changes with my vision. Nothing too crazy, but just seeing what basically looks like very dim stars, when I'm in a very dark room.   I went to the eye doctor today, and had a very thorough examination. Everything looked great. When I told the doctor I am doing IVF, he did state that the hormones could be causing this. I'm curious if anybody else has had this as a side effect? 

 I also have had ocular migraine's for years, so even though these new changes are very different from my normal migraines, he did say it could be possibly related to that. 
Me: 35  DH: 36
Me: 1, possibly 2, blocked tubes
DH: severe MFI
Married and TTC since 2/15
Started stims 7/21/16, ER  8/2 --> 17 eggs, 5 blasts after PGS testing.
Fresh transfer 8/8/16: Chemical Pregnancy
FET #1 9/13: PGS tested 5AA, BFN
Endometrial biopsy 10/18/16: normal result
ERA test 10/18/16: "receptive" result
FET #2  1/3/17: natural cycle, BFP!!! TWINS!!  EDD: 9/21 (8/31 with twin adjustment)

    hey @APM_SLP - I've had some bouts with dizzyness that have cause 'blacking out' and 'stars' kinda like what you're talking about. 

    I think it has something to do with your blood thinning!

    Me - all clear, DH - initially low SA, with 1% morph. Now A+ SA (increase from 10M to 60M).

    I think it was the progesterone that did it for me - but I was also on femara, ovidrel and puregon that cycle! @APM_SLP

    I had problems with clomid when they increased the dosage. I had blurry vision and white flashes. It scared me so that was the last time we tried clomid. It wasn't working for us any way so it worked out!

    I was on low dose Clomid for the first time last month and I had vision floaters. I still have them even after ending the treatment. It's kind of worrisome. I know my RE wanted to stop it if vision problems develop. So I guess I will tell him to try Femara next time.

    Interesting! @bestofjoy I have had floaters since I was in my early 20's.  If they persist- don't worry.  I barely notice them now.

    Hi, I have ocular migraines as well and just this month, when I was late by two days and swore I was pregnant, I had something similar to the OM's. It was bizarre and made it very hard for me to work at my computer. Luckily it passed in an hour or so. I didn't end up being pregnant but I was thinking it was hormone related as well. Perhaps we're more susceptible to visual issues due to having a history of optical migraines?

     Wow now that's interesting.  I actually swear I was pregnant too.  We tried naturally this month and I was 8 (!!!) days late.  Back on birth control pills now to prep for FET.  I only notice the stars in complete darkness.  Very strange though.  Optical migraines are so scary!! I hope they don't happen more often when I eventually get pregnant.
