My specialist wanted me to try to get pregnant before a surgery because I'm at risk for causing more damage to my ovaries and tubes with it as well, a potential bowel surgery as a result. So we started trying right away...leading us to the RE's office a year or so later. They cleared the bit of blockage in my right tube with the Sonohystrogram (quick but painful!), I have a 4.5cm endometrioma on my right ovary that's growing and surgery will have to happen after this pregancy and (a visible on an ultrasound & MRI) deep endo nodule over my bowel with adhesions. I have to have a sigmoidoscopy once a year to ensure its not damaging my bowel. Very lucky that I quickly fell pregnant with IUI & injectables as it seems to be having an effect on quality (or so the RE says).
This pregnancy my HCG levels are good, things seem to be progressing with the pregnancy but my endo pain is unreal. As soon as my bowel or bladder is full it's terrible - I have to lay down and breathe like I did through my periods. Last night it woke me up at 2am (full bladder) and I gave in at 4am and took some tylenol. That seems to have calmed it down. I've called my specialist for some advice and my RE can only say as long as there's no bleeding, which there isn't, that cramping is normal. I just thought maybe it would be less painful than my periods. From what I can tell the hormones have flared it up, then if it's irritated, getting that inflammation down takes a long time or is needing some pain med (which I'm not a fan of taking.)
Just wondering if anyone else has dealt with this, any advice? I'm hoping to hear back from my doctors soon on this but in the mean time...I'll have to deal with it so any help with how would be great!
