Pledge on crib

Hi everyone! I am cleaning up a crib that I got from a friend, and I was wondering is it safe to use pledge on it? I used a magic eraser to get all the dirt/milk shake off, and the stain is in great condition so we want to save it. thanks!

I am pretty sure vinegar and hot water is super safe and really great for cleaning

I wouldn't. Pledge leaves a residue, and some babies like to chew on their cribs.

I wouldn't clean it with anything you wouldn't put in your mouth.

With my daughter I usually just used a baby wipe.

Lemon essential oil or some other essential oil cleaners (thieves, onguard) are really great!

I wouldn't. A little vinegar will go a long way.

Thanks everyone! I ended up cleaning the dirt with magic eraser, then I polished the wood with a mineral oil/beeswax combo that is food safe. We actually use this oil on my cutting boards, so I figure it'd be safe if baby decides to get mouthy.
