I feel out of breath all the time. Is there a remedy or specific foods that can help? I was trying to read a bedtime story to my daughter and I had to sit down and not do loud voices. It's making everything harder to deal with. I can barely make it home on the train ride. Thanks in advance!
If it's really difficult to breath just doing everyday tasks, I would bring it up to your doctor just to see if there are other underlying issues. I'm not aware of any remedies for it, but your doctor may have some ideas.
How far along are you? During first tri, your blood volume in your body nearly doubles, and that's a lot of extra work for your lungs to oxygenate all of that blood! With both of my pregnancies I experience shortness of breath for a few weeks during first tri before my body adjusted.
Gosh! I'm glad someone posted this thread; this has been happening to me off and on (I'm 7w4d) for the past week and a half after climbing stairs (unavoidable with a third floor condo and a pup!)
