I will be 12 weeks on Wednesday (3rd pregnancy that has made it this far) and today was the day where I finally could not bear to try to close my work pants! SOOO uncomfortable. Now, full disclosure, I have put on some weight over the past 6 months in general, so my pants have been tightening anyway. But this morning, there was no way my pants were closing. And it's not bloat because I have not been experiencing much of that. It feels too early even though I think it's really not for STM+. Have you made the leap to maternity pants? If so, what week did you do it?

Re: Uncomfortable Pants, Anyone?
But yeah, I'm not necessarily jumping into maternity pants. But definitely sliding over into leggings.

I haven't bought new, smaller pants because who knows when I'll be into them again, so the constant hiking up is starting to get annoying.

I'd rather be comfortable then worry about when the right time to wear maternity clothing.
I don't wear pants/jeans often (I usually wear dresses to work and sweats while I'm at home) but for casual Friday I started wearing maternity jeans at 10 weeks (STM). To be fair though, I could still button my normal jeans, I just didn't feel like it because elastic waistbands are so much more comfortable in general. I'd wear them for the rest of my life if I wouldn't be judged for it. I think I switched to them at 13 weeks with DD.
FWIW I had gained 4lbs at my 12 week appointment, and I still think it's partially bloat, so I don't think I LOOK much different yet. I haven't broken out maternity dresses or anything else. Just jeans so far.

Most def. been rocking the stretchy pants, leggings and maternity jeans for a few weeks now. I just like to be comfortable so I'm not really caring "at what time" I bust out the maternity wear. As long as I feel good and like the way I look, I'll wear it!

I went to maternity pants for work and school on Saturday, I was 10w2d. 2nd pregnancy. Mostly changed because my slacks started to roll off my tummy and bunch up.
I thought you showed earlier with #2? Where's my bump
I gave into maternity leggings this week and they are amazing! My maternity clothes from before are still too big so I either wear my jeans unbuttoned or leggings. I'm definitely in maternity shirts! Normal shirts just make me look fat.
I have the whole twin skin deal from going to 38w5d with both twins being 7+ lbs. Add my small, yet present, umbilical hernia and my stomach was just not coming back. I do have some larger regular sized pants that are too big on my legs but maternity pants just look better as they fit the rest of my body better and I find flattering tops to detract.
All that to say... I used to occasionally wear them to help get me through to when I would get my laundry done sometimes pre-pregnancy but as soon as I got that BFP they became option #1!!!

Work pants get really uncomfortable by the end of the day so Im partially switched over this week (12+). This is my second pregnancy.
However, since I've lost weight since I was expecting DD, none of my maternity clothes are even close to fitting. Doesn't help that they're all capris and shorts from being pregnant over the summer last time...
Ive been making do with a couple pairs of Target under belly pants but figuring out my size is tricky!
But yes I've been wearing leggings so yeah. Lol Maternity pants will have soon for sure. I'm 12w1d.
@NarrowHouses thats pretty much my plan. I am a college professor (last day of class tomorrow! woo hoo) so I'm off until Jan 16th or so and I don't plan on wearing anything but PJ's and leggings between now and then. The fam is just gonna have to DEAL at the holiday dinners! lol
