We told my mom we were expecting before anyone else becuase she's going to fly out and stay with us for awhile so she needs to get her passport. Well she asks me every. single. day. if she can tell people. WTF MOM NO. This is exactly why you didn't know until 12 weeks last time.. And WTF weather if it's going to be 20 degrees outside it needs to snow so it can at least be pretty.
@Nxy Hahaha!!! I swear my mom is the same way. She was like "well I'm excited to have another grandbaby and I should be able to talk about it...babies are a blessing" -_-
Seriously!! Like no one said they weren't but I don't want to announce until the 2nd trimester...and she still told both my aunts. *eye roll* She's going to be real mad when I refuse to tell the gender lol. She wants it to be a girl so bad because my sister has two boys and I have one.
Mine is my MIL.. She keeps throwing baby names at me... She's been doing this for the past 2.5 years since we've been trying and when we told her this past weekend that we were expecting BUT it was VERY early and we don't want ANYONE to know, she said oh ok but now i'll keep a book of names that I like! Yesterday she texted me 4 times with random names.. STOP!!!!!!!!!!! She knows i'm a very traditional person and that I really like names that have a family meaning but yet she just keeps sending me all these crazy names! WTF!
@Cupcakegal930 SO annoying! I'm totally stealing a page from my SIL who didn't tell anyone the name until the baby was born. That way no one can side eye your choice or make you doubt what you and your SO choose! Maybe tell her it's going to be a surprise so she stops pestering you about it?
@secicc12 I've already told her that we will be keeping the name of the baby a secret until the day it is born.. My DH on the other hand has no will power and will cave i'm sure over the next 9 months.. I'll have to just stay on top of him..
1) My boobs! They are too big to squeeze into my regular bras but not big enough for my maternity bra. Life is very uncomfortable right now!
2) TW and heavy content - my OB who was dealing with my complications from my miscarriage who insists on referring to it as a spontaneous abortion. I realize I'm overly sensitive, but I hate that term. It feels like it implies that there was some choice involved, which there definitely wasn't. Just call it a miscarriage, please.
@riss27 I totally understand where you are coming from with the terminology. I have been through two, and there is no worse feeling than being handed paperwork with that diagnosis on it...
My WTF is totally not baby related, but work related.
So my company is moving to a new file system, we used to just use google drive and dropbox, but they want more security on things, so they got us all OneDrive, part of the Microsoft sweet. Well we had our training today and they brought in someone from OneDrive to give us the training, and first he kept getting info wrong that our IT people had to correct him on, like how we dont need to put in a password, HA. But my biggest annoyance was when he told us how much space we would have, 1 terabyte, but then proceeded to get how much space that was wrong. Now If you arent a tech person I can totally let that slide, but this guy should have known. He said it was the same as 100 Gigabytes, but its really 1000 gigabytes! Big difference there. So really WTF, why are we learning from someone who doesnt know his stuff! BTW if you dont know me, I am a web developer, so this kind of stuff bugs me.

My MIL has already told extended family and her friends I don't even know. I saw a HS friend at the Christmas festival last weekend and in the middle of catching up my niece opened her big mouth....wtf
