Any new symptoms or changes? Eh same old. Had to increase unisom last week and almost threw up in one of those orange buckets in Home Depot Sunday because I couldn't find the damn bathrooms so fun times! Mood is a lot better this week so that's great.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Not really but I can't wait to feel baby. This part is weird because sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night feeling perfectly normal and freak out until I get up and see my little bump (second kid here) and have my obligatory morning heave and all food sounds like poison. Then I feel mentally better

Mad dash at work before the holiday week off and I'm starting to get overwhelmed with the amount of stuff that needs to get done
GTKY: What is you favorite Christmas/Holiday Movie?
I'm not a big Christmas person so I don't watch Christmas movies but I have movies that I love watching over the holiday break like The Godfather 1&2, LOTR, etc.

Any new symptoms or changes? My only symptoms are sore boobs and exhaustion. Not that I want to be sick, but it kind of worries me that I haven't experienced any nausea yet. I was super sick by this time with DD!
Rants/Raves/Questions? I can't seem to get to work on time the past 2 weeks and it's driving me crazy!
GTKY: What is you favorite Christmas/Holiday Movie? Definitely National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. I'm kind of a Christmas fanatic though so also love Home Alone, Elf, The Santa Clause and Polar Express. We watch all these movies multiple times in December.

Thursday. We had an us last week and couldn't see anything inside the gestational sac, but it was measuring closer to 6 weeks so we're checking for ANY progress this week.
Any new symptoms or changes?
My bleeding has mostly stopped. Here's hoping that this is a good sign.
Rants/Raves/Questions?
We finally got our tree up! Last year ds was only 6 months old so he wasn't that into it, but this year, he ran around waving his arms, talking a bunch of jibberish and stealing balls off the bottom and throwing them back in the ornament box. Dh and I laughed so hard we were crying! We're now referring to our tree as a "toddler tree", it has no ornaments near the bottom.

I've always been a fan of the cartoon Grinch!

No new symptoms but the existing ones feel like they're getting worse.

Getting so fed up with food. I don't enjoy eating at all anymore. Nothing tastes good. I have to cook everyday that we're home and it's my least favorite part of the day. Plus my daughter has been consistently waking about 3 times a night all of a sudden and I'm just one tired, yucky feeling mama. And my husband hates when I complain and always gives me a hard time about it. So I literally have nobody to talk to since nobody else besides him (or the bump) even know I'm pregnant. Sometimes I feel like I shouldn't be allowed to complain no matter how terrible I feel because we had such a hard road to conceive my daughter I should just be grateful things appear to be going well.

Upcoming appointments this week? Friday! Gah, I'm so excited and nervous.
Any new symptoms or changes? Nausea is still always present but is now a bit more manageable.

Upcoming appointments this week? Went to my first real appointment (with the midwife) last week. She just asked a bunch of questions and took blood to check for things like my iron levels and hepatitis. I won't have a scan or any checks on the baby itself until week 12, which is making me feel really impatient and frustrated.
Any new symptoms or changes? Yes! Nausea seems to finally be going away. It was really bad for a while there. For about three weeks I could only really sleep and snack. I'm also getting a bit too puffy for my clothes.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Probably covered that in 'upcoming appointments'
GTKY: What is you favorite Christmas/Holiday Movie? I've always loved the Rudolph movie, but the Honest Trailer guys on YouTube ruined it for me recently. (I never realised how weird it was!)
ETA: I'm re-emerging after a bump break, I took a digital detox when the nausea was in high gear.

Upcoming appointments this week? 8 week prenatal appt was this morning. Measuring exactly 8 weeks on the u/s.
Any new symptoms or changes? Nausea and fatigue continue. Think little bit of insomnia is starting too.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Heartbeat much faster this week so that was exciting!
