I wanted to go ahead and get this thread started for our group, since I know there's already a few of us here. This thread is for August moms who have previously suffered a loss (miscarriage, stillbirth, etc). I stoked this template from July.
Let's all do a little intro, as a reminder and for those that weren't around when we did the first time!
How far along are you?
How are you doing?
When is your next appointment?

I'm Amanda. I'm 35. I have two kids and have been TTC #3 since June 2015. I had a MMC at 9 weeks back in April, then an early m/c last month. I haven't had a period since that loss and was told I had HCG in my system when I was in the ER for double pneumonia.
How far along are you? 5w6d based on my ovulation date, but 6w2d since my bleeding from my m/c started.
How are you doing? Mostly okay. I'm super nauseated, but from previous experience, that doesn't necessarily mean anything for me. I'm good one day, then the next will have a rough PGAL day. Just trying to take the bad with the good and relax as much as possible.
When is your next appointment? Tomorrow,
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: Today is my due date from my first loss. I was incredibly irritable yesterday and I'm guessing that's why. I feel better today, don't feel overly sad, but it's still tough.
GTKY: What is the one thing you are hoping to get for a Christmas gift this year? Honestly, I hate to sound cliche, but I just want a healthy pregnancy.

Im 28 and DH is 26. We started trying for our first in April, and had our first BFP in May (i know!). We had our loss at an estimated 9 weeks 2 days, less than a week from my first appointment, in July. We started trying again in August, and finally had our BFP on 12/4, almost exactly 6 months post loss!
How far along are you? 4 weeks 4 days
How are you doing? Im really trying to take this new pregnancy one day at a time. With Christmas coming, Im just planning to focus on that, and enjoying my last one without a LO around.
When is your next appointment? 12/19 and then 12/29. I went into the office today and the lady at the desk thought I was nuts for already knowing (even though if I hadn't tested, I would be 2 days late), but the nurse was there listening and was able to take over, and get me in for a Dating US on the 19th (at 6w4d) and then the full appointment on the 29th!
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I think my biggest rave is that I get to be KU for christmas! Before the loss I had all these thoughts about being KU at christmas, and they got ripped away. Well now, even though I have no belly or anything like that, I know Im pregnant and thats all that matters.
GTKY: What is the one thing you are hoping to get for a Christmas gift this year? My biggest one was getting pregnant (even though I didnt tell anyone) so I got it! But other than that, I really didnt ask for anything specific, I just always give ideas of many things and trust DH to surprise me!

How are you doing? Trying not to be anxious - waiting on pins and needles for the end of the first trimester. Otherwise, just tired, but DH is a trooper and trying to make sure I get as much sleep as possible!
When is your next appointment? Scheduled a private ultrasound for December 22, want to see a heartbeat before we tell family.
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: At this moment I am pregnant, and I just need to be thankful for that.
GTKY: What is the one thing you are hoping to get for a Christmas gift this year? A heartbeat!
How far along are you? 4 weeks
How are you doing? Good. I'm so thankful to be pregnant again, but I am also so nervous! I have a countdown in my mind of what I have to get to in order to make it further than before. Every little cramp or feeling, I have a slight panic moment.
When is your next appointment? Tomorrow I go to get another blood draw to test my TSH and hCG. My first ultrasound won't be closer to 7 weeks though.
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: This pregnancy started out more hopeful and promising than the last so I'm trying to stay positive! I just don't feeeeel as pregnant as last time, but I am only 4 weeks so I keep hoping my symptoms will get stronger to ease my PGAL brain.
GTKY: What is the one thing you are hoping to get for a Christmas gift this year? A heartbeat on an ultrasound.... and a new dishwasher!
How are you doing? Better now that I am pregnant! We had a loss in September with blighted ovum, ending in a natural miscarriage. We waiting a cycle, and didn't get pregnant the next cycle, but thankfully here we are. I struggle with the whole starting over concept, because a close friend and I basically were pregnant at the exact same time. I see her updates and I was so sad I wasn't with her growing my bump with hers anymore.
When is your next appointment? December 28th
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: still trying to adjust all of my baby apps for this baby---I kept getting weekly reminders about how my MS loss would be developing. It was the worst!
GTKY: What is the one thing you are hoping to get for a Christmas gift this year?
It will be a belated Christmas gift, but a heartbeat is the little miracle I need.
On a positive note, this was the first time to see my OB, who I just adore, since my D&C in April (I saw an RE for the last one). He was beaming from ear to ear and so excited to see me. His excitement made me feel so happy.
He sent off another beta Andy depending on that level, I'll go back in either 1 or 2 weeks.

Hi everyone! I'm Brittany. I have a 4 yr old DS. I've had 1 m/c at 8 weeks prior to having my DS. We started TTGP in September and I got my BFP 11/27.
How far along are you? 4+6
How are you doing? really struggling with PGAL brain. I was worried with DS until I held him in my arms. I'm really trying to worry less and focus on the positive more this pregnancy
When is your next appointment? I had my HCG levels checked last week. I have my first u/s on 12/20.
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: Sending positive vibes to everyone for a H&H 9 months!!
GTKY: What is the one thing you are hoping to get for a Christmas gift this year? Just praying that all goes well at my appt on 12/20 cause I plan to announce to my parents 2 days later when they arrive for Christmas.

AFM: I had my blood drawn yesterday (4+1) for another hCG check and a TSH check. My TSH was normal (as expected) and my hCG was 670! It was 117 on Saturday so this is great improvement! I'm so relieved!!

Let's all do a little intro, as a reminder and for those that weren't around when we did the first time!
I'm Anna. I'm 31, DH is 32. We have a 4-year old daughter, Julia, born in October 2012. This month last year I went to my first appointment around 8 weeks and was told I had an empty gestational sac. Turns out after a D&C it was a partial molar pregnancy so I had to be followed with serial HCG tests for 6 months and I ended up needing a second D&C because of retained tissue. We were cleared to try again in about April, but even then we were scared. So in October, we decided we were ready to start trying. Took my temp and tracked my cycle and bam, got a BFP on the 19th of November!
How far along are you?
5 weeks 3 days
How are you doing?
Physically I feel okay... sore boobs, occasional cramping, bloating, and I get hungry every 2 hours. Emotionally, I'm really scared of the same thing happening again.
When is your next appointment?
Monday right at 6 weeks, my old doctor is going to see me to do a trans-vaginal ultrasound. I'll be switching to a new doctor a week later cause we moved but I needed the peace of mind.
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:
Keeping my fingers crossed for all of you who have experienced a loss. Hoping these are our sticky rainbow babies!
GTKY: What is the one thing you are hoping to get for a Christmas gift this year?
A good report on Monday from the doctor, and then maybe some gift cards for maternity clothes!
