I'm impressed at you ladies who prep a new meal for each night of the week! By the time I get home from work I'm too pooped to cook every night so rely on having leftovers at least 2x/weeks.
-Monday - tonight I have my 12-wk appt so will likely make an easy stir fry (with lots of greens!) and brown rice when I get home -Tuesday - leftovers -Wednesday - turkey chili (I'll start-up the crock pot in the morning) and pumpkin quinoa cornbread -Thursday - leftovers -Friday - takeout Saturday - we're hosting a big holiday party that we're getting catered with Spanish food
M: Our version of a healthier "dirty rice" with turkey sausage, peppers, onions, and rice T: Chicken burrito bowls W: Light lasagna soup Th: Buffalo chicken wraps F: We generally either go out or cook something that is more of a splurge meal.
Monday: Chicken enchiladas with broccoli (grilled chicken with broccoli for DD) Tuesday: Leftovers from Monday due to ballet Wednesday: Spaghetti with zucchini tomato sauce Thursday: Buffalo chicken salad Friday: White pizza
Monday- Leftovers from yesterday Tuesday- Buddha Bowl (Quinoa, beets, kale, onions, garlic, roasted chickpeas, beans, broccoli, with cilantro and peanut sauce) Wednesday- Roasted Chicken with veg and spinach salad with ACV and olive oil Thursday- Leftovers, make bone broth Friday- Chicken Noodle Soup with chicken leftovers and bones Saturday- Husbands turn Sunday- Beef Stew with kale salad.
I'm impressed by everyone... I just know what I am going to make tonight, ha!
I didn't have time to get my turkey thighs in the crockpot for turkey pot roast, so I'm going to roast them along with the carrots and yukon gold potatoes when I get home after work. DH doesn't eat pork or beef so this is the closest we get to pot roast...
I am NOT doing well on the cooking/meal plan front. But here are my hopes and dreams for this week. Monday: This is usually my date night but my BF has work late tonight. So I'm having a Mediterranean quinoa bowl. Tuesday: Chicken Tacos Wednesday: Hot ham and cheese sandwiches with salad. Thursday: We are going out after work for our xmas tree so probably pizza. Friday: Breakfast Saturday is usually a free for all Sunday: Turkey meatloaf with tomato Mac and cheese.
M-tacos T-spaghetti squash with meatballs and marinara sauce W-leftovers Th-kale salad mix and tortilla crusted tilapia F-pizza night
I use a lot of pre-prepared stuff from Costco that I can just pull out of the freezer. Truthfully, we've been eating out a lot lately due to H's work schedule and me not feeling well. Thanks to @mamaelle27 for posting this. Hopefully I'll be able to stick with this throughout the week.
Tonight is leftovers from the weekend T: Black Bean Burgers and fries W: Parmigian crusted tilapia with mashed cauliflower Th: Tacos w/ rice and beans F: Pizza and breadsticks Sat: breakfast Sunday will probably be eating out since we will need to go grocery shopping lol
I am so jealous of everyone that gets breakfast for dinner. My husband hates pretty much all breakfast food so i never get to make it except for the rare occasion he is out of town.

Monday: linguini and clam sauce and salad- at DD1's request Tuesday: probably sandwiches, the girls need to be able to eat in the car between dance class and the skating party at school. Wednesday: butternut squash and lamb chili Thursday: dinner at DH's grandmother's Friday: leftovers
We'll wing it through the weekend. It's our first and last free one in and for months, what we eat depends on what we decide to do.
I need to steal ideas from this. Haven't cooked dinner in over two weeks. But my husband has cooked twice, which almost never happens. By the time dinner rolls around I have no motivation to eat and little appetite. Unless it's pizza. I do have a plan for a few meals this week
Monday: roasted potatoes and smoked sausage Tuesday: possibly going out to eat if we take my son to see Santa. If not, then stuffed chicken breast Wednesday: maybe stuffed chicken if we don't eat it Tuesday. If not, idk Thursday I work late so fast food for me while traveling home Friday I work late again and eat while I drive home

I have the whole week planned but I just made chicken chili for tonight and had to stop to vomit while I was cutting up the raw chicken. Oh joy! Mr better appreciate it since I made a double batch for his potluck at work tomorrow!!
Monday (tonight)- spanakopita and salad Tuesday- Pork tenderloin, broccoli and rice Wednesday- leftovers or whatever (I work till 8:00pm so DH usually does simple for DS...plus, he doesn't know how to cook ha) Thursday- Crockpot chicken thighs, roasted carrots and salad Friday- Girls Night Xmas gift exchange (DH and DS have leftovers) Saturday- whatever we feel like Sunday- Always Jets Pizza!
@halfthetree we LOVE Buddha bowls!! I usually make my sauce a nutrition yeast-tahini-garlic sauce. Either way they are SO AMAZING. Going on my next week menu for sure! So glad you reminded me!
Lol @CurlyMommy416....if you read mine closely, I'm only cooking 3/7 days of the week...and one is a crockpot meal so it hardly counts There's plenty of box mac n cheese floating around this joint!
