    How big is baby?  Size of an Appleseed

    Upcoming appointments this week? None

    Any new symptoms or changes? Same ole things...sore/itchy boobs, frequent urination, waves of nausea, and fatigue.

    Rants/Raves/Questions?  Just happy it is December and cannot wait for another break from work around Christmas and New Year's.

    GTKY: When is you first appointment?  How far along will you be then? First appointment is Dec 27 and I'll be exactly 8 weeks that day.  I'm nervous but excited as well.  Hoping all goes well until then.  The only thing that sucks is I wanted to tell the rest of my family on Christmas but since my appointment is after I'll have to wait.

    Any new symptoms or changes? Sore boobs, fatigue aka napping right after work so I miss part of the evening, salty foods call my name..usually I have a sweet tooth and that sweet tooth isn't interested in chocolate anymore :/
     

    Rants/Raves/Questions?  Where does my brain go sometimes? I'm not a forgetful person but now I feel like some things are slipping thru the cracks. 

    GTKY: When is your first appointment?  How far along will you be then?  First appointment is Jan. 6th and I'll be 10 weeks. I'm getting antsy - I want to share with my family the awesome news but I also want to wait until after our first appointment then share. Decisions, decisions...

    Nope, nothing for a few weeks.

    Any new symptoms or changes? 
    Not much has changed - still tired and hungry. Also randomly went from being freezing all the time to being hot all the time.

    Rants/Raves/Questions?  
    Not much to report; just got my first pregnancy book - picked up the Mayo Clinic Guide to a Healthy Pregnancy and it's really informative so far. 

    GTKY: When is your first appointment?  How far along will you be then?  
    December 21st and I'll be 7w1d.

    @Shan870 Aw I specifically asked the receptionist for an appointment before Christmas. But looking at it another way, you'll have that announcement to look forward to after the holiday is over.

    Hey @babyudell8815  for the ticker change threads, you post when you are moving on to the next week in your pregnancy. So you would post in the Saturday ticker changes :)

    How big is baby? The size of a poppy seed

    Upcoming appointments this week? My first Beta on Friday

    Any new symptoms or changes? It's hard to tell because of all the progesterone I'm on. My lower abdomen feels tight and twinges if I sneeze, cough, or twist. The progesterone has made me super bloated which makes me unirinate more. It also makes me hungry. 

    Rants/Raves/Questions?  I'm pretty sure my doctor told me to take 4mg of folic acid. It only came as 800mcg tablets at CVS so I've been taking 5 of them. I keep finding contradictory information online about the max dosage. I hope I didn't mishear the Doctor! 

    GTKY: When is your first appointment?  How far along will you be then?  I will be 4 weeks and 4 days for my first Beta. 

    Edit: 4mg, not 400.

    @Natsuki - can you call you doctor about the Folic Acid just in case?..  I remember reading something that said that too much can have negative effects...   but I'm not sure what "too much" is.

    Any new symptoms or changes? Nope - sometimes nausea, sometimes fatigue, sometimes a little crampy.

    GTKY: When is your first appointment?  How far along will you be then?  First appointment is December 27th (7w0d).  Yesterday I made my first ultrasound appointment for January 9th, but I didn't want to wait that long, so I called a different practice and cancelled that first appointment ;)

    @TheMrs That's actually smart and I didn't think of that.  I almost had a mind to call and see if I could be seen the week before but I'll just wait.  Like you said it'll give me something to look forward to after Christmas.

    @Natsuki I found out before 4 weeks as well...the day of AF I was holding my breath.

    @Peedy I dug around and found the original paperwork that made note of it. It's high but it is what they told me to take.
