How far along are you? 23 weeks

How big is baby? Grapefruit

Appointments this week? Just had one last week and all is well!

Symptoms? The usual. Nothing new.

Rant/Rave/Questions? So excited for Christmas! Can't believe next year we will have an 8mo!

GTKY: Favorite Christmas/holiday tradition? I love looking at Christmas lights! There are a couple neighborhoods we love visiting that go all out.

Appointments this week?

Had my ultrasound on Friday! Baby looks perfect!

Symptoms?

Having lots of abdominal pain. My doctor thought it was a UTI but antibiotics haven't done much. At my ultrasound they found a couple of fibroids so now I'm wondering if those are what's causing the pain. I had one in college that had to be removed because it was causing a lot of pain. Planning to go in tomorrow to try to figure it out.

I'm a teacher so we're on the 2 week countdown to Christmas break!

Not sure what happened to my last questions. But favorite Christmas tradition is getting a new ornament for the tree each year. When my husband and I got married 3 1/2 years ago we started collecting a Hallmark ornament each year. We decided to collect Muppets so it's fun to see what the new ornament will be each year!

How far along are you? 22 weeks

How big is baby? Pack of a half dozen bagels, I think. As an aside, proper bagels were one of the things I missed the most in the years I lived abroad. Bagels, Cheez-its, and root beer haha.

Appointments this week? Nope. Next week!

Symptoms? Heartburn is a motherf****er. Even with taking Zantac once a day, I still need to top up with a Tums here and there. It sucks so bad. RLP. Feeling and seeing kicks from the outside now! I still don't look especially pregnant, but I'm definitely feeling pregnant. It's tricky to bend over and get off the couch already, and there is still another 4 months to go. Sigh.

GTKY: Favorite Christmas/holiday tradition? Santa would always leave a present at the foot of our beds to open before we got up in the morning. I'll probably continue that with my kiddos

Symptoms? My hormones are still messing with my appetite so hungry all the time and get intense sweet tooth cravings.

Rant/Rave/Questions? I got a Fibit Alta to replace my Fitbit One and I love my new tracker.

GTKY: Favorite Christmas/holiday tradition? I like wearing Christmas socks and sipping hot cocoa by the fire. We also have Christmas-y scented candles going for the month of December.

Symptoms? Heartburn showed up with a vengeance this week. I was hoping not to have it this time. RLP seems worse the 2nd time around too.

Rant/Rave/Questions? I still feel like my belly is really small, especially with a second baby. I can feel the top of my uterus where it should be (just below my belly button), so I guess I will try not to worry too much.

GTKY: Favorite Christmas/holiday tradition? Christmas Eve dinner and stories at my grandma's house. She is in a nursing home, so we go to there now, but it is still a wonderful tradition.

Symptoms? Random headaches, insomnia, sciatic nerve pain is sneaking up too.

Rant/Rave/Questions? The inconsistent movement stresses me out. I wish she would move all the time. I feel like I really have to pay attention for it.

GTKY: Favorite Christmas/holiday tradition? Going to my aunt and uncles on Xmas eve with the whole family. We play games, eat too much, sing, it's so much fun.

Appointments this week? follow up ultra sound tomorrow since baby wouldn't cooperate last time

Symptoms? Exhaustion, and my DH would say irritability haha

Rant/Rave/Questions? I feel huge. I hate when people are shocked by how many weeks I am compared to what they think I should be based on my bump. DS was a ten pounder and measured big my whole pregnancy so that happened a lot with him as well. But it just sucks sometimes, especially when they constantly ask if I have GD or if I'm sure its just one. I think I know my medical history stranger! I wish people would just smile and say look nice today haha.

GTKY: Favorite Christmas/holiday tradition? We also see lights on Christmas Eve with my family. I like to watch It's a Wonderful Life every Christmas Eve too.
