Upcoming appointments this week? None this week. My appointment with the nurse last week confirmed my measurements from my ultrasound in early November, that I am measuring right along and the 24th is my official due date. So you other Saturday girls are stuck with me! Also I was able to schedule my next US for Dec 15th, right around the corner.
Any new symptoms or changes? I feel like they are slowly getting better. Still have food aversions, which makes it hard to eat. But i'll take being less nauseous all the time.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I plan to tell work late this week (around 11w 5d), my boss is rarely in the office (haven't seen him in over a month) and we have our company Christmas party that I really don't want to have to fake drink at (all my co-workers will see right through it) on Thursday. But I am nervous since I won't have seen the baby via US for almost 5 weeks. I've had no issues, just guess I would love the reassurance that things are OK in there. It's getting harder to lie about and cover up - I am ready to just be open about it already. Anyone think I should keep my mouth shut until after my US on the 15th?
GTKY: What's on your Christmas list (if you celebrate)? If your family celebrates another holiday, or doesn't celebrate at all, what are your plans for that holiday or New Years? Not much on my Christmas list this year. DH and I are just doing stockings this year to keep it simple and to save for the baby. Just excited to fully announce our pregnancy and celebrate with family and friends. We are staying local this year (DH's parents live 4 hours away) and are planning on sleeping over my parents one last time to be kids ourselves before baby comes!

Upcoming appointments this week? Seeing the perinatologist for the first time this week. The OB warned me that they will tell me EVERY worst case scenario. I'm so glad she warned me or else it would probably destroy me. Might anyway... FX!!!!
Any new symptoms or changes? Not really... its been an easy week other than exhaustion, yay!!!
Rants/Raves/Questions? Just feeling good! We had a GREAT appt with the OB this week, had an amazing ultrasound and just all around good news so very relieving and i am feeling really happy. :-) Still lots of aversions but less nausea. I can deal with the aversions because i'm already overweight so I need to be careful about gaining weight being pregnant (so far 0 lbs!) so not wanting to eat anything is good! haha

I dunno... the past few years it's just been "A BABY!" Haha, i dont even know what else to ask for.... lol but seriously, i think we want one of those Amazon Alexa things.... hehe We are going home (To our parents in NJ) for a little over a week before X-mas through New Year's, so that will be busy and exhausting but hopefully better than thanksgiving! (what a mess that was).
@graceriesz Totally up to you... I understand what you mean about losing confidence between U/S's... It was about 5 weeks between my scans and I was starting to get all depressed and anxious and not wanting to talk to anyone! But we had a successful one yesterday so now I'm all pumped again... hahaha If you think the party will be too hard then do it now! Get it out of the way. I told 2 weeks ago because i've been so sick and missing work.

How big is baby? Hah! Last week my bump app said lemon and now it says peach. Well, last week my siggy ticker (also by the bump) said peach and now it says lemon. Guess I'll go with lemon or peach.
Upcoming appointments this week? My next appointment isn't until Dec 29!
Any new symptoms or changes? My 1st trimester symptoms ended and gave way to a whole slew of 2nd trimester symptoms this week... round ligament pain, headaches, nightmares, and carpel tunnel syndrome whenever I fall asleep. Oh boy!
Rants/Raves/Questions? Now that I'm no longer nauseous I'm trying really hard to eat the right foods for pregnancy. Went to the grocery store today and picked up a lot of protein, calcium, vitamin C, and whole grain foods to get this baby growing strong and healthy!
GTKY: What's on your Christmas list (if you celebrate)? If your family celebrates another holiday, or doesn't celebrate at all, what are your plans for that holiday or New Years? We celebrate Hanukah but DH and I decided not to buy gifts this year. Instead, we're saving up for our baby moon at Disney at the end of January!
@graceriesz I can certainly relate to that anxiety in between ultrasounds. I haven't had one since 11 weeks and my next one won't be until my anatomy scan at 18 weeks. I wanted to do our social media announcement at 14 weeks (which is now), but I'm thinking I'll wait now until after our anatomy scan. I think telling work is a little different though. I told my work at 10 weeks. I'd want them to know if the unthinkable happened anyway. I think I would tell if I were you, and everything is probably just fine anyway!

How big is baby? Each baby is the size of a little army guy... or a plum, depending on the app.

Any new symptoms or changes? Headaches! I normally don't get them ever, but these are brutal!! Lasting for the entire day, if not more.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Rave for my new OB who is fine with me going past 38 weeks with twins! So relieved to have decided on a doctor.

We are hosting Christmas Eve dinner, I'm nervous but looking forward to our first one in the new house! Then we do Christmas morning come and go brunch. I usually have a make-ahead breakfast bake ready and just stay in pyjamas until 3:00pm. Leftovers for supper with more family. Then we are heading 5 hours away to a massive mall/water park/theme park for 3 days with my husbands family! We do it every year, it's a blast for the kids.
On another note - I went and got my blood drawn in prep for my next appointment yesterday morning. I swear the lady took 10 vials (I didn't look or count, but she had two fist full of vials walking away). I didn't think much of it until about mid-afternoon when I was more nauseous than I had been in a while and had a splitting headache. I'm convinced having my blood taken was the trigger. I suffered through DH's company party and made it to bed. After a decent's night sleep and a ton of water I feel much better today. Pounding more water in hopes to replace what I lost quickly! (and will definietly be bringing this up to my doctor at my next appointment).
Off to finish all the weekend chores that didn't get done yesterday...

GTKY: What's on your Christmas list (if you celebrate)? The best part about Christmas this year is my 4 year old son he is catching on to so much and making the season amazing. He totally called me out that our Elf was fake and Santa didn't know him lol!

Rants/Raves/Questions? Still haven't heard back from my Drs office about the results of my NIPT testing that I had done the Monday before Thanksgiving=rant.
