Baby is the size of a plum apparently.
Next appt is right before Christmas and then the following one will be the big anatomy scan. Can't wait.
With DD, my face cleared up completely and stayed clear until I got my first period. With this baby, my face is breaking out insanely. Don't know what's up with that. Everything about this pregnancy is so different from my first. And I'm actually losing weight for now which I don't mind since I'm still not at pre baby 1 weight. I think eating much healthier (which I can do since I'm not really nauseous at all like with DD) and continuing to workout (which I didn't first time around) has helped me with this. I'm hoping to put on only half the weight I did last time by not eating for 2 or more. Ha! But belly is starting to really show so much faster this time around!
We finally announced the pregnancy and people are already trying to touch my belly. It pissed me off before and pisses me off even more this time. I literally want to slap people everytime they do it!
Never in a million years did I think I'd ever use a gun but I now have a concealed weapon permit, we go to the range for date days and DH bought me a Glock 42 this year.

My nausea is so much better and I have way more energy!! Still going to bed earlier than normal. But 8pm is was more acceptable than 7pm.

I also was not a fan of guns or shooting but when we go up north to our cabin I now enjoy going to the shooting range! I also enjoy more outdoorsy things than I used to.

Last Tuesday we went in for doplar and ended up with a new sonogram pic. My OB couldn't find the HB so we got sent in for sonogram. After a pretty stressful wait, despite her reassurances of everything probably being normal, when we got in and updated the sonogram tech, everything was just fine. She found the heart immediately and measured a strong heart beat. Baby was looking very real and alive in there, and measuring on my EDD exactly, instead of two days behind from my previous appointment. I'm glad my DH was there to see everything. Next appointment isn't until January.
Any new symptoms or changes?
I'm really glad my husband isn't repulsive to me anymore. I had such a hard time with his breath for a long time, and he didn't even have "bad breath." Just his smell was driving me nuts and I had to get away from it. I felt really bad for rejecting him all the time. That seems to have calmed down. I can kiss him again without feeling like Im going to suffocate.

I have come to appreciate and play the occasional player vs player video game online, and watch professional gaming competitions with or without my DH. I now actively defend why video games are valuable, despite feeling like an outsider most of the time.

Letdown feeling in my breasts and so hungry. Other than that, most of my symptoms disappeared.

I borrowed my friend's Doppler today to listen to the heartbeat before I announce next week and I found it a few times on the first try and again a few hours later! Such an awesome feeling since I wasn't expecting to find it because of my retroverted uterus, but the baby was juuust high enough

My husband is in the Army and is really into war history so we watch a lot of stuff together, most recently Hunting Hitler. I find myself watching war shows when I'm home alone, especially WWII ones (we're most interested in it).
Baby is the size of a peach.
I have an amniocentesis on the 19th with an ultrasound. Then I have my regular mid wife appointment on the 21st.
My only charges are that we know we're having a girl who may be special needs. We'll find out definitively with the amniocentesis. My heart burn has subsided a bit. Trying to stay active but I'm still tired all the time.
I haven't really picked up any of hubbys habits. He scuba dives and that's not for me. He's also a baseball and Star Wars nerd. Neither of which I'm into either.

I relate to a few of you with being okay guns and going to the range. I never thought I'd have a gun in the house but hey I married a country/military man.

Barely and nausea. Definitely got an appetite now. Still tired but getting some energy back (finally!)

Gotta call insurnace this week to ask for the Harmony test. I was told by my ob since I'm not high risk, my insurnace will likely not cover it. I'm hoping I can get them to though.

I occasionally play video games which I never did before. Nice easy activity that doesn't require too much energy.
