Why my SO is Awesome!

My SO is awesome because yesterday was my BF's birthday and she wanted me to watch her daughter over night until they get back in town today after celebrating. He originally had to work but called out for me to help watch the kids because he knows how tired I've been.

My DH completed training and testing to become a lineman this week. I fell and injured my leg on Thanksgiving and I've been in a brace and on crutches since then. He's made sure that DS and I are taken care of and when he got back in town after his test, he cleaned up the house so I wouldn't trip over toys. He's been cooking and taking amazing care of our son who is 17 months old. He makes sure that if he needs to run an errand that I'm not alone.

Yesterday he took DD to gymnastics in the morning so I could nap when DS did. I really needed that snooze!

Every weekend DH gets up with DD and let's me sleep in as long as I can manage. They get quality time together and I get to catch up on sleep it's so wonderful!

We got our first accumulation of snow today and DD wanted to go play after church so badly. I've had a headache since waking up and just don't feel wonderful. So DH took DD outside to play for an hour and let me relax.

@Nxy I'm jealous of you getting to sleep in! My DH isn't a morning person at all and in the 2.5 yrs of being parents, he's never gotten up before me to get DD.

My DH is awesome because the day I got my BFP, he cleaned the entire house because he wanted me to come home to a clean house (and previously it was a disaster). He also has been extremely supportive. Today I had noticed some spotting, and DH gave me a hug when I told him and then proceeded to look it up & talk me through it because I was worried.

@bumpybump to be fair DH is normally up at 5 and DD doesn't get up till 8 so he gets to "sleep in" 3 extra hours so not a huge sacrifice but it's still really appreciated!

We're renovating and my husband has been at the house working on it all the time. And when he's not there he's at his job. He works so hard and I'm so thankful for him!

I came home from job number 2 last night and DH had cleaned the entire kitchen - did dishes and all! He even installed some under-mount lights to my cabinets!! He racked up the brownie points last night lol

I was so nervous to tell my husband about the BFP because we have a 7 month old... and he's a financial planner, so he thinks about money and the future and is way more logical than I am. But he was elated and eased my mind about everything!

My boyfriend is awesome because he's dealing with my mood swings so well. I'm ridiculously up and down, but he understands and is so patient with me. (I started crying this morning because we didn't have eggs, and he just smiled, hugged me, and offered to run to the store quick to pick some up.) He even rubs my feet every night because he knows it is my favorite! I feel so fortunate to have him
