The store didn't have our favorite creamer in stock so I had to settle for something else. Starting my day with a cup of coffee that isn't as delicious as normal is a real kick in the pants. Life is hard.
Someone needs to tell SO that I am not to be woken up unless the house is on fire, there's a tornado coming or someone is seriously hurt or dying. My sleep is precious and I get so little of it these days!
i ordered all this stuff online on black Friday. and it finally came. there are like 15 boxes in our home office just waiting for me to open and do something with. and i don't want to open them or deal with them.
I know its Sunday now. But here goes... I am taking my 5 & 10 yr old DDs to a birthday party today, at a roller skating rink. I love roller skating, but obviously can't this time. I don't want to go, it's like a tease and I won't be comfortable with all my swelling. I'm pretty sure I'll be the only one not on skates. it really is a petty problem.
My mom had DD yesterday and they were going to "decorate Christmas cookies" I was super excited, cuz yum!! But guess how any she sent home with DD?????

Here I was ready to pound xmas cookies, but no. Grandma also told DD they were for Santa, so I cant even eat the ones she did bring home!!
My mil is arriving today. I want today to be all about dd1 as her last day as an only child. DH told her we are doing dinner just "the 3 of us to celebrate dd1s last night as an only". Her response "good for you". WTF does that mean? Is she mad? Idk. It's stressing me out even more.
Then my parents (live in town) offered to bring pizza by for lunch so of course I accepted. They are watching dd1 while I'm in the Hospital so I wanted to go over things anyways. But now my parents are getting special treatment and mil is not (she won't arrive in time for lunch) so DH is mad.
And all I want to say is "hey I'm a little freaked out about major surgery tomorrow too,but have you once asked my feelings DH? No!"
Was changing Ashton early this morning. I put the clean diaper over him so he wouldn't pee everywhere while I grabbed some wipes. He was half asleep and kicked the diaper and my hand away....and proceeded to pee. On his face. He didn't even care! He didn't even open his eyes. Wiped his face and changed his sleeper, but he is getting a sponge bath today.
@sourlemon - I feel the same way about parents vs in laws sometimes. MIL is being pushy about being at the hospital right after the birth, which annoys me, and also I don't want everyone in the room at the same time, but also sort of want my mom to visit first. DH is all like, well they can come at the same time. And I don't want that and I'm the one who carried the baby and is doing all the work to deliver and will be physically uncomfortable after. So I feel like maybe it's not fair but I should still get to do it my way.
I have a 2fer(is that a thing?). First while changing L, he pees all over the bedspread. Then changing E she gets the 'coughing poops' and shoots poop over the new&McLean bedspread and my pants. Now I have to do 2 loads of laundry completely before my nap.
