Re: FFFC 12/2

  • Confession 1 - I am about to fucking lose it on this pot smoke post. I can't. That's all.
Confession 2 - I think it's stupid we call it FFFC if it's not actually flame free. Why not just call it FC?

If you can't tell, I'm in a bad mood now lol

  • I seriously want to flame every post that the OP knows exactly what they are going to do and posts for advice anyway.  Then they get crabby when nobody agrees.  Then we have to hear about how we aren't supporting someone who has offered little to zero support themselves.  Knock that crap off.

  • My DH seems less than thrilled with this pregnancy (our third) and I am feeling very alone to the point I don't understand the point of being married to him. He has always been a fairly selfish person, and I knew that when we got together. I'm not sure if its the hormones or if it really has just gone to the next level.

Any one else here consider kicking their SO to the curb while they were pregnant? Or is it just me?
  • I'm in a bad mood today. All my clothes don't fit right, they are all bothering me in some way, especially my shirts, and I cried trying to get dressed this morning. I feel like my already huge boobs got bigger...why boobs? Why the heck do you need to get any bigger?! My confession is that I plan on buying a ton of clothes today to help me get out of this funk. Retail therapy...even though I shouldn't. And I ate a ton of chocolate because I was so sad my clothes don't fit....because that makes sense...
  • I have a cousin (in law) that has some obvious mental issues.  She was pregnant 19 months ago but unfortunately lost the baby (she had a D&C before the end of her first tri).  She is now convinced that she is still pregnant (apparently she thought it was twins and the other one survived) and is sending mass emails to the family about her "pregnancy troubles"...

We haven't told our "extended" family yet - which is the only reason I haven't responded negatively to her strangeness.  I do feel awful that she has battled serious drug addictions and suffered a couple of head injuries.  But I really just want to shake her and email the entire family a massive WTF.  I am not one for enabling.

And I am in one hell of a snarky mood.  I'm with you @supermom83 - I think it is time for some retail and chocolate therapy.  Since a margarita isn't an option.

Yeah, I'm wearing Charlie's Project reindeer ones. The UO yesterday that LLR is ugly and "tired" was confusing to me. YES, 90% of the prints ARE ugly, I'll give you that. But leggings of SOME type (even jeans), with a scarf/long top/boots is literally the only outfit I see around here unless it's a dress with tights. I want to know what other things people are wearing, because I live in WV, and we are literally at least 5 years behind with fashion anyway. I'm curious as to what I'll have to wear in a few years.

  • I have to go to H's work Christmas party tonight, and I really, really, really don't want to. I've considered every pregnancy excuse in the book to get out of it today.

I'm in a bad mood today. Also, this. Except for my boobs. I'm an A-cup, so they can get bigger anytime now! I'm also going shopping tomorrow. In my leggings because that's the only thing that's comfortable.

A big part of me really hopes that most of these people leave. But then another part of me is enjoying the entertainment that I've been getting because of their stupidity. Conundrum?

The funny thing is, this still seems like a way more laid back group than some of the 2011 bmbs... Although, it is still very early...

LOL it's bad to be on the post-it. It's like I want to make sure I never forget that this person said/did something completely ridiculous, so the next time it happens I can be like whatever, we already knew that bitch was crazy. Or else someone said something that I side-eyed just a little, and I want to remember who it was so if it becomes a pattern she can be adequately flamed.

Personally, it's just a mental post-it. But there are definitely people on TB who have a literal post-it where they keep track of people they don't like, or save links to threads they want to bring up in later arguments to throw in someone's face.
  • Sorry @mango15 that sounds rough :(. I definitely get ridiculously pissed at DH all the time as I did in my first pregnancy.  I'm trying really hard not to take it out on him but the hormones definitely make me feel super irritable.  Hang in there, mama

  • Thank you @OperaSingerMommy Even before BFP he had been disconnecting and generally pissing me off... its just really compounded now, and no amount of telling him how I feel does any good. Just keep swimming...
  • @mango15 have you considered counseling? A pregnancy/new baby is hard on any relationship. If you're already feeling this way, that might be a good proactive step to help with everything the next year is going to bring.

I told work we were having a car issue so I needed to work from home. I'm still in bed in sweats. I felt better yesterday but felt like crap when I woke up and I just couldn't do Friday.
Ah that's a good one. I don't have a car but maybe the toilet needs a plumber next Monday? Hmmmm

Guys, what happened on the weed smoking thread? I saw the beginning. It wasn't too dramatic.

My confession... DD woke up at 5am (which is unusual) and after a few minutes dozed back to sleep so I ignored it. In the morning I picked her up and apparently she pooped and her little tush was so red :(

  • @plumpous not confession worthy! I know no one who wouldn't have done the same. (Sh)it happens.
  • @GlitterFish your pic kinda scares me!

@mango15 I had an amazing marriage that quickly deteriorated when DS was born. I never "believed in" counseling but things got bad enough that we went. We are completely back on track, and I am so mad at myself/us for waiting as long as I did to seek counseling. We had to pay out of pocket but it was worth every penny and then some.

Confession: I work from home, 6 hours ahead of my boss's time zone, and I've been taking morning naps, daily.

  • @GlitterFish, damn girl! Your eyebrows look amazing!! This is such a huge hangup for me. I have trichotilomania (form of OCD where I feel compelled to pull hair from various locations on my body out - luckily, I leave my head alone, but have to shave my arms/legs/etc. every day to maintain my sanity) so I compulsively overpluck my eyebrows and have to draw them in first thing every morning and sometimes before going to bed. I'd LOVE my eyebrows to look as nice as yours do!

  • @plumpous, I am super interested in laser! My only concern is that I've heard it's less effective on blonde hair? Any experience with that? I'm super, super blonde from head to toe and my mom and husband and friends have pushed me to get laser hair removal for years, but I'd hate to waste the money if it wouldn't work because of the color of

I have trich too! Mine is my eyebrows and eyelashes though... That's how they got to that before state :(
The microblading was amazeballs, and even though my color faded a LOT from that photo, I actually grew eyebrows back from not touching them for the 3 weeks! Lol

  • Thank you ladies for listening. We have been some really through tough times before and have come close to divorcing before, and this being baby #3 for us, you would think we were veterans and it wouldn't be a huge surprise (which this baby wasn't a total surprise, we still hadn't settled on a timeline for #3 when I found out.) We have talked about counselling before, my hubby will not go, and with two other kids and me being the sole breadwinner I do not have any extra time in my day. And quite honestly, if he isn't willing to invest the time, then why should I. Sadly the more I think about what life as a single mom of three would look like, the more appealing it looks compared to what staying with him and having three kids.

Sorry to be a Debby Downer here. I just don't know how to get through to the lug head any more.
  • @GlitterFish, yes!! I pull my eyebrows out horribly...I'm very lucky in that I leave my lashes alone, but my aunt, who also has it, has no eyelashes or eyebrows left, as she's pulled them all out to the point that they don't grow back (she's almost 60, though, and that much damage over time...) I've heard about microblading but I've never seen the results in person!

  • @mango15 - I can't even begin to understand the situation you are in.  It sounds very stressful.  IMO - you should do what you believe is best for you and your family.  Reading between the lines, it is my interpretation that you are making all of the money as well as doing the child rearing.  I am a firm believer that it "takes a village".  Do you have any other support?  (family, bff close by, etc.)  DH and I moved back to my hometown for additional support (from my family).  We picked my hometown bc jobs are readily available (he is from rural VT).  I couldn't imagine having to deal with child rearing and pregnancy with any additional burdens - I would probably choose to remove myself from that family/living situation if DH wasn't pulling his weight (or more).  This is just my opinion and what I would probably do.  Since I am not in your situation, it is all speculation on my part.  I truly wish you the best.

  • @BoTor091314 oddly enough my support system is MIL and 2 SILs. They are awesome and probably part of the reason I am willing to put up with so much of his laziness. All three are near and dear to my heart and understand what an a$$hole my dh can be and are my outlet when I need it. he is lazy, but hormones aren't helping my patience, and who knows, maybe he's still wrapping his mind around having #3. But if things don't change soon the hammer must come down. Thanks again for listening.

So laser hurts more where there is a bone. The bikini line isn't that painful. The pubic bone a little below the belly is the one painful area. I started my lower leg and the front of the shin was ten times more painful than the bikini area.

However, it's not recommended during pregnancy. I had an appointment this morning and I called to tell them I'm pregnant and they said they'll see me after I give birth.

I also did my armpits and after 3 treatments I barely have any hair. (black hair, white skin).
