How far along are you? 40 weeks!

How big is baby? 7lb 9oz as of my ultrasound on Tuesday

How are you feeling? I feel pretty good, which makes me think this baby isn't coming any time soon....

What's going on this week? Some cramping, lost my mucous plug. Saw my OB and had an ultrasound. Baby looks good. I am 2cm dilated and 60% effaced. Induction scheduled for 41 weeks if baby doesn't come first.

Rants/Raves/Questions: Not sleeping so well over the past week. Up at 4am, sometimes for a few hours but sometimes for the rest of the night. Other than that, just waiting for this LO to get here.

GTKY: (Stolen from Monday 'cause it is a good question) What is your favorite holiday food? Apple pie, and also my mom makes a meat stuffing that I love.

How far along are you? 37 weeks

How big is baby? 7 lbs 3 oz as of last week's ultrasound. So who really knows.

How are you feeling? Large and uncomfortable.

What's going on this week? Saw my Dr on Monday, 1 cm dilated, 60% effaced, soft cervix, -3 station. Lots of cramping and some sharp jabbing pains.

Rants/Raves/Questions Why isn't there consistency between doctors and online information? My doctor told me that I am considered term as of 37 weeks, but then when you look up week-by-week information, it says that 37 weeks is still considered "early term." Also, how can you tell the difference between a cramp/jab and a contraction?

How far along are you?

39 weeks

How big is baby?

Not sure, but I am getting bigger. Last ultrasound had her at 33% (about 3 weeks ago). I am only 4'10 so I hope she stays on the small side!

How are you feeling?

Ok. Lots of reflux and lower back pain. Some crampiness but nothing that significant. I don't think I am having contractions but I'm not sure I would recognize them.

What's going on this week?

Not much- on maternity leave finally. Finishing up Christmas shopping and decorating and studying for my board exam.

Rants/Raves/Questions

Had my cervix checked at last appointment. Holy shit does that hurt. Makes me worried I am not going to be able to handle the pain of childbirth. Did anyone else find that extremely uncomfortable to the point of tears almost?
Also, all I got after going through the crotch punch was that my cervix is 50% soft. I don't even know what that means. Is that effacement? Baby's head is down at least.

How big is baby? they didn't say at my u/s yesterday, but on the 16th she was 8lbs..according to my ticker she is the size of a turkey!

How are you feeling? Same as @penelope4612 pretty good...Penelope I hope that means we don't have a long time to wait!! I'm already sick of people commenting about not having the baby

What's going on this week? f/u appointment tomorrow but first I have a meeting today and DH planned a birthday dinner for me today (yup I was due on my bday)

Rants/Raves/Questions I honestly want baby to be born...like now.. the first 2 days of my mat leave have gone by SO SLOWLY I feel like I am already starting to go crazy..i cant do it for another week or 2

38 weeks

How big is baby?

She was 6 pounds at 35 weeks...soooo I think she's going to follow in her brothers footsteps and be a big baby!

How are you feeling?

Large, crampy and soooooo sleepy!

What's going on this week?

I had an appt on Tuesday and I'm at 2.5cm, 70% effaced and apparently she is "right there." I've been that way for almost 2 weeks now, but I lost my mucus plug this morning and now I'm super crampy, so we'll see what this next week brings.

Rants/Raves/Questions

I had a total meltdown last night because I'm tired of constantly being in pain. I even went on a cursing rant and I don't curse...DH looked at me in shock...then it was just funny.

I LOVE squash casserole.
@sarah12 cervix checks just hurt! I usually look off to the side and try to focus on relaxing...which is really hard to do when all that's going on.
@AbriannaO I'm having trouble deciphering her "pushing out" and contractions. They both cause a lot of tightening. A true contraction usually takes my breath away so I've been going by that.

How big is baby? According to BPP this morning, 9lb 6ozs.

How are you feeling? Huhe, tired, sore... basically done

What's going on this week? RCS and tubal tomorrow at 12!

How far along are you? 38 weeks!

How big is baby? Last week she was 5 lbs, 11 oz, 25 percentile. According to ovia, she is the size of a (small) Pomeranian. Yeck.

How are you feeling? OK! I'm excited to be done work tomorrow, have some trepidation about our scheduled cesarean next week but everyone at the hospital/OB office has been wonderful. I've been having GI upset and I'm totally ready for baby to be OUT.

What's going on this week? This is our last weekend as non-parents so we are going to go out to a fancy dinner and maybe see a movie, or do something else that we won't be able to do for awhile. Tomorrow is my last day at work!! I hope to get a massage, my hair done, and maybe a pedicure Mon-Weds next week which I will have to myself.

Rants/Raves/Questions My DH is so cute. He held my hand through the whole version process and was such a good supporter. I am so lucky to have such a great guy. Last night he was begging Bella to flip over and was just generally being adorable. Much love.

How far along are you? 36 weeks

How big is baby? Honeydew melon, 2L bottle of soda.

How are you feeling? Pretty good, aside from daily reflux and swollen feet/hands. Nightly pees have increased to 2x. Last night after my second time up I had the terrible realization that I won't be sleeping through the night until...the very distant future. :'(

What's going on this week? Next appointment with the midwife is Monday, and I might make up my missed birthing class on Tuesday. Not sure. Oh, and I think H and I are going to start perineal massages, fun fun. (H is calling it the "grundle fundle.")

Rants/Raves/Questions: It's cute how excited my husband is getting. He's got his carrier all packed, and is demanding the baby from me now. Not quite ready yet, buddy!

GTKY: What is your favorite holiday food? You're making me pick?

I like that we always get a Honeybaked Ham when the in-laws come for Christmas. This year especially, with the baby due right around then, it will be good to have for post-birth leftovers.
