TTC After a Loss

TTC AFTER PARTIAL TUBAL LITIGATION

Hi
I am a 36 year old healthy woman. Back in march i had a tubal which led to everything on right side being taken out on april first. Great april fools joke. Needless to say i have been trying since then with no luck. I have been yracking ovulation and period days which stay pretty accurate. I staryed my last periid on nov 23 and it lasted a normal 4 days. 2 days later we had intercourse. Yesyerday i started having a trickle down my leg sometimes i have to pee afterwards sometimes just need to clean up. It is clear with no smell. I started ovulating today according to my calendar. Anyone have suggestions on what that is or any suggegtions on getting pg? Thanls ahead of time.

Don't know if this is the right board for your question @ladybugmama33- did you mean to say that you had an ectopic in march and had your right tube removed? There are a few women here that may have similar experiences- it is possible to get pregnant with one tube but obviously will be more difficult. I hope you get some insight- just wanted to clarify your question first because your post was kind of confusing to me.

  • Yeah, if an ectopic is what you experienced then you would have had laparoscopic surgery. Did they take your ovary as well or only your tube? I had my right tube removed in January and have been TTCAL since March. I don't have any huge words of wisdom. Your ovaries compete each month to see which will release the egg. If you ovulate from the side with the missing tube you will have a much lower chance of getting pregnant that month. I hope this is what you are looking for and I know we all wish there was some secret to help us get pregnant.

Yes i had an ectopic pregnancy ty for clarifying
  • They just took tube i still have ovaries. How do you know which side is ovulating? I have had 2 healthy pregnancies 10 years apart youngest 6 oldest 17 and i wonder if that was side i ovulated each time i got pregnant. My youngest was a miracle baby because his father was 28 years older so i keep praying because i know miracles can happen. I just need to be more knowledgeable about it all.
  • Well, you don't know so that can be the anxiety inducing part of it. I do not know whether this is true, but I have heard that one ovary can be dominant. It's just one of those things. Being over 35, you may way to go ahead and go see an RE. If I do not get pregnant by March I will be doing the same.
