How far along are you? 17w1d

How big are babies? 2 pomegranates

Appointments this week? None for another 2 weeks

Symptoms? Nausea and vomiting is improving. I'm so stuffy, happened with my last pregnancy too.

Rant/Rave/Questions? I feel like I look so much bigger than I did my first pregnancy already. And I'm kind of terrified by how big I'm going to get.

GTKY: What is your favorite holiday song? I love the song Christmas Wrapping by the Waitresses. Everyone calls me the first time they hear it during the season.

@mia1116 I was huge before my littles came but everyone carries different. I will say that the fundal height measurement become comical. I was 28 weeks here, 2 days before I went on bedrest. I measured 56 wks when I had them, this is the last picture I have though since I was on bed rest.

Symptoms?
Fatigue and dizzy when I stand for too long.

Rant/Rave/Questions?
I keep thinking I feel movement, but it is always in the same area. My lower far left abdomen, where Baby A would be. Baby A has an anterior placenta, which makes me feel skeptical that I could be feeling him/her so soon. On the side where Baby B is, upper right, I have felt nothing. I know it's nothing to worry about, but it is kind of weird. Anyone else feeling movement? Can you feel both babies moving or just one?

GTKY: What is your favorite holiday song?
It's sooo overplayed, but Mariah Carey "All I Want For Christmas Is You". It's so upbeat and fun.

@chickyclg omg! My friend had twins and she looked just like you. That's what scares me. My above pic was today, and already I'm much bigger than I was with my singleton.

@Jellybeanqueen13 I feel some movement, but can't tell which baby it is.

@mia1116 (and other twin moms to be) when you get bigger and they do ultrasounds be sure to be honest if you are having problems laying on your back. I passed out during one of my scans because I was having a hard time breathing. After that I was almost always on my sides for scans

Nope. Anat scan + appt the week before Christmas (almost 22 wks but the only time my crazy schedule allows).

Symptoms?
Still nauseous in the mornings. Dizzy and nauseous if I don't eat protein at least every 2-3 hours.

GTKY: What is your favorite holiday song?
I'm partial to classic songs (Bing Crosby, Dean Martin, etc) but I'm also a huge sucker for "All I Want For Christmas Is You" - so catchy.

Anatomy scan was today! I have envelopes with genders but have not peeked

Everything looked great on both babies. My dr was back THANK GOD and didn't have any issues finding everything on the scan.

Symptoms?

So much pain down low on my belly and down there. By the end of the day it hurts to stand, lift my legs to change pants, etc. Also, yesterday was the most nausea I'd had in two weeks. I thought maybe I caught a bug, I felt HORRIBLE.

@chickyclg do you happen to remember your weight gain by trimester? I'm so worried I'm not eating enough for them, my dr said i'm doing good so far, but I was big FAST with my daughter, and have just had a hard time making myself eat this time. I've gained 12 so far.

GTKY: What is your favorite holiday song?

@mdlorenz, I think we have the same taste in christmas music, I've got a good pandora classics station going.

@Jkp7749 I lost 20lbs before I finally started gaining but by the time I hit 3rd tri I gained 20 lbs. When I delivered I was up 60 lbs and the doctors and nutritionalist were still concerned about my calorie intake and I was placed on a high calorie diet as soon as I went on complete bed rest. From what I was told it is really common for MoMs to intake enough calories period (even though we get big). First tri is miserable, but then once the babies get bigger you get full much faster so you have to make the calories count. I felt bad because most of the people I knew back then had GD and were placed on strict diets, and I was told to add butter to everything and add an extra scoop of Ice cream to my daily milkshakes.
