1. How are your numbers this week? I would say about 80% good. I had an appointment yesterday ad he didn't seem too concerned.
2. How far along are you? 36+2. I almost typed 33. Whut.
3. Do you have any family holiday traditions? I murder everyone at Monopoly. Usually, we play at NYE/NYD, but we did Thanksgiving this year. It was just my 19 y/o sister, mom, and friend, but I kicked all their asses.
4. Have you been Black Friday or Cyber Monday shopping? What did you score? I got an Instant Pot. I am kinda terrified to use it, but have been seriously stalking some Facebook groups for a while now. It arrives today and I really want to try to make some hard boiled eggs. Also, I had a ton of Old Navy rewards, so I bought a bunch of stuff for my toddler (she's 2 1/2), who might FINALLY fit into 2T here at some point. Then, yesterday Carter's had $5 fleece zip ups, so I bought 2 sets for my toddler and new baby (smallest size was 3M), and a matching outfit. I also bought some crap on Zulily for myself (jeans, an outfit for toddler). I spent way too much money this weekend. I always seem to do that, but it's a once a year splurge on stuff I need, so.....
5. RRQ? I am sick of this insomnia! But at least my 5 am sugar was normal. I already had an egg white flatbread sandwich (14 carbs), and might consider that just an extra snack for the day, since I know I will be starving later!
6. What do you have left to do for baby's arrival? Carpet is being installed in our master on Thursday, so then we can move in there. Baby will be sleeping in a bassinet in our room for a while. Once #1 transitions to a big girl bed, #2 can have the crib. My whole house is a freakin' disaster right now though. Also, I am 90% convinced my water will break on the new carpet. They told us it's bleach washable, so I guess we will test that out.

1. How are your numbers this week? Good, except for post-Thanksgiving dinner, where I spiked my all time high so far this pregnancy.
2. How far along are you? 37 + 2, and very ready to have this baby! Had a lot of uterine activity on my NST yesterday, but so far have not lost my mucus plug or had any measurable contractions. Feeling VERY tired most days, but of course I'm having trouble sleeping at night because I can't get comfortable.
3. Do you have any family holiday traditions? DH and I usually split the holidays between my family and his (Thanksgiving with one, Christmas with the other) as his family is local and mine lives three hours away, but the baby has definitely changed those plans this year! Not sure exactly what we'll do going forward, probably still some variation of that.
4. Have you been Black Friday or Cyber Monday shopping? What did you score? Hell no! My family is getting gift cards this year. I don't have enough energy to be creative with Christmas gifts.
5. RRQ? Still working at this point, and some days it's killing me to make it to the end of the day. I did tell them I was going to be done on 12/9 if Little Miss hasn't shown up by then (but I'm really hoping she does at this point!)
6. What do you have left to do for baby's arrival? Mostly little things at this point, the big stuff is done.
. How are your numbers this week? Not great. Lot's of spikes. I'm 90% sure I will be starting medicine this week . Eating the exact same foods as before I am getting much higher numbers, especially at dinner time. Most in the upper 130's at 2 hours.
2. How far along are you? 35+4 Feels like it should be much further.
3. Do you have any family holiday traditions? We have tons with both sides of the family. But DH and I every year on Christmas Eve we cut up fresh meats and cheese and watch a Christmas movie, just the two of us. It squeezes between all of those other family events. Excited to start new traditions with a little one.
4. Have you been Black Friday or Cyber Monday shopping? What did you score? Totally skipped shopping this year. No energy and we are skipping gifts this year because of how close to Christmas we are due, so no need to go out.
5. RRQ? I was complaining to DH about my numbers last night and he told me I should try to get more exercise. I know he was trying to help, but not the help I needed as I waddle everywhere I go and can barely stand up without extreme hip pain... Plus I have been more active in the last week than the last month combined. And he knows that.
6. What do you have left to do for baby's arrival? Our dresser for the nursery came yesterday so get that together and pack it to get the nursery finished and install the car seat bases. Then everything else is just small cleaning and organizing to make maternity leave a little easier.
@BenNSarah - your husband sounds like mine. Except, to kick it up a notch, he started dieting and running and has lost 30 lb in the past couple of months while I am pregnant. So, when I got the diagnosis of GD, he was like "cutting sugar is easy". You should have seen the glares I gave him. Obviously, he now realizes it's not just SUGAR that causes the spikes.
Also, my doc says there's no rhyme or reason to the spikes when eating the same things. It's not your fault. You're so close! If you end up on meds, so be it. Maybe you won't!

1. How are your numbers this week? Mostly great. I'm super excited about this. I tend to get adventurous when numbers are great then spike. Hence a 135 number after Taco Bell dinner last night. The meds finally got control of the fasting number though!
2. How far along are you? 37w5d
3. Do you have any family holiday traditions? Christmas Eve is my birthday, we always have a large spread and open house at my moms with tons of delicious food. This year I told her we will skip it. We have no idea when baby will arrive and I'm not sure I want to put him around so many people so young. I hope she still makes some meatballs and my favorite birthday cake and I'm a GD free by then!
4. Have you been Black Friday or Cyber Monday shopping? What did you score? Nope but I haven't Black Friday shopped for many years. I stopped when you had to start skipping turkey day dinner to get the deals. And I second @squiddy224 , everyone is getting gift cards!
5. RRQ? Anyone having horrible pressure when walking more than a few minutes? It's killing me and I felt like I was gonna pass out at the store.
6. What do you have left to do for baby's arrival? We are mostly ready! We need a glider for the nursery just to have somewhere to sit for feedings. Oh and curtains. Maybe we aren't ready haha
@1982Babies Thanks! Yeah DH said he was going to do it with me at first. He went to the GD class and everything. Then after he ate a whole pizza. The support has been overwhelming! Haha. He also did a body building competition a few years ago so one day he was telling me that my diet really isn't as hard as his diet was for that (as he eats 3 bowls of lucky charms) I reminded him he chose to do that, I did not choose this, and I am feeding two people AND still have several foods that makes me sick, have lost more weight while pregnant than he did on his diet (although that isn't really the goal of that diet) and puke every morning. So I don't want to hear your "empathy" about my diet! But I love him and he really is trying to help me feel better. In his own way.
1. How are your numbers this week? For the times I remember to test, pretty good! I moved on Sunday and I'm now working from home, so I'm just completely out of my routine.
2. How far along are you? Today I'm 38w + 2d!
3. Do you have any family holiday traditions? My mom throws a Christmas Eve party every year that is a lot of work in terms of prep (cooking and cleaning), but this year I am excused
4. Have you been Black Friday or Cyber Monday shopping? What did you score? I did some online Target shopping and got some of the last "essentials" that were on my list (car seat cover, hands free pumping bra, etc.) at the extra 15% off.
5. RRQ? Had a BPP on Monday but since they only check weight every other week, don't know how much baby has grown. I have another scheduled for next Monday but I have a feeling I'll be induced by then. OB appt tomorrow will reveal more info, I'm so anxious!
6. What do you have left to do for baby's arrival? Unpack all the non-baby stuff from just moving...but all the baby stuff is organized and cleaned!
