Are there any websites that you trust that help find babysitters for families?

    I've heard that care.com can be a good source. Some friends use it

    I'm in the same boat of needing to start the process and not being certain where to begin. 

    2nd time mommas or those with existing sitters? How did you handle the hiring process?

    I used SitterCity when I was a nanny and it seemed pretty good- background check, etc.

    I found mine in my local fb mommy group.  She watches my son 5 days a week and it's going perfectly.. we interviewed her multiple times and dropped by unannounced a few times just to check and see how her daily routine was with the other kids she watches.. she's like family now ;)
