    How big is baby? Honeydew melon... is it weird that I want to say yum?

    Appointments, anything going on this week? regular checkup on Monday and they'll do my GBS test then too.

    Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Back and rib pain, BH

    Rants/Raves/Questions? I had zero plans to go shopping this weekend and planned to stay home, decorate the tree and relax. I felt so good yesterday though that I ended up going out late morning and shopped until 6. Almost done with purchasing gifts!

    GTKY:  What last minute things do you still have to get done before baby arrives (borrowed from Saturday)?     We need to install the car seat bases in our cars and pack hospital bags. Everything else I want to do would just be a bonus.

    ugh. Food is chaos right now. I think overall I'm not eating enough. But I'm not feeling good. Then when I finally do eat I make bad choices...

    I need to make it to December 8th. Then DH's semester is done, my work is done, and I'm in the window that baby can show up whenever...

    How far along are you, or, how old is baby? 35

    How big is baby? pineapple

    Appointments, anything going on this week? I have a pretty big appointment on Tuesday which includes a growth ultrasound  (very big at 30 weeks), GBS, cervical check, and probably going over my pre-e diagnosis in more detail.  I also have a NST on Friday.

    Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Just aches and pains all over, BH, reflux, and trouble sleeping.

    Rants/Raves/Questions? I was told to do bed rest as much as possible over the long weekend to help my swelling and BP.  It's been nice to take it easy but I also get bored rather easy and I hate being "helpless".  I have also developed some congestion with is interfering more with sleep.  Since the office is closed I can't call and ask for what over the counter meds I can take.  Anyone know what's safe??

    GTKY:  What last minute things do you still have to get done before baby arrives (borrowed from Saturday)?     We have the car seat in my car and got the bassinet set up yesterday.  I think the only thing we need to do is finish packing bags and get them in the car.

    How far along are you, or, how old is baby? 39 weeks!

    How big is baby? A pumpkin?! F*cking hope not. 

    Appointments, anything going on this week? Another appointment Tuesday to tell me I'm still pregnant. It's with my other midwife (I have two that rotate, so I have a 50/50 chance of either of them delivering. I like the other one better though, but I need to get to know them both since either one will be all up in my hoohah here soon...)

    Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Loving spicy food! I can eat spicy food and not completely die! I don't know where the baby went, but I can eat spicy food! (Today, at least...)

    Rants/Raves/Questions? The nursery is done! Check! And now I'm onto the bathrooms and everything else. If DH keeps leaving his socks in random corners of the house though... he's going to be getting a handful of crazy pregnant lady on his @ss here soon.

    GTKY:  What last minute things do you still have to get done before baby arrives (borrowed from Saturday)? Installing the car seat and cleaning the kitchen. And grades...it was the end of the trimester on Tuesday and I have to put in comments for all 110 of my math and English students. It'll be a fun Sunday.

    How big is baby? Cat...pumpkin...bigger

    Appointments, anything going on this week? A regular appointment, where the doctor will most likely schedule an induction for 41 weeks. 

    Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Symptoms: Sleep issues, swelling in my legs and feet that won't go away. Cravings: All food. I'm starving all the time. 

    Rants/Raves/Questions? Rant: Part of me is seriously freaking out that I'm going to be a mom soon. Rave: Doctor told me to use the breast pump to try to start labor, and I've been able to get quite a bit of colostrum...My biggest fear has been that I wouldn't be able to bf/my boobs wouldn't work. So there's that positive. 

    @l9iI wouldn't know what you could take with pre-e, but have you tried a sinus rinse/neti pot? 

    GTKY:  What last minute things do you still have to get done before baby arrives (borrowed from Saturday)?     Supplies-wise, everything is ready to go. I'd like to get a few more things prepped and in the freezer for Christmas time (family coming in). Otherwise, I just have to get my brain to stop freaking out and maybe disconnect/destroy DH's computer so that I can spend some time with him instead of listening to him play his video game.

    No, I didn't do one on Friday because I was mobile bumping over the long weekend, and mobile bumping doesn't let me start the thread :( Thanks for starting @ajstevenson

    39 week check on Wednesday

    Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions?
    More intense BH, more pelvic and rectal pressure, lightning crotch. I finally got a fudge brownie sundae on Thanksgiving (homemade!) so I was happy about that. And my dad's stuffing :)

    Rants/Raves/Questions?
    Rant - Squish shifted lower and is putting so much pressure on my rectum it isn't funny! Spent half the night trying to get comfortable because I was in so much pain.
    Rave - My tub is getting fixed today!!!!!!!!!! So taking a bubble bath tonight.

    We just built the last piece of furniture yesterday, a storage shelf my parents unexpectedly bought us. We put all of Squish's clothes and blankets in it too. I think it's safe to say we are good to go!
