Trouble TTC

How do I not lose the rest of my sanity?

My bf and I have been trying for 8 months. I had cervical cancer last year and now go to the ob every 6 months. Other than that we've had no testing done yet. I got pregnant and miscarried at 7 weeks in September. I also use opk because my cycles are 23-34 days. I'm getting so frustrated, how do I hang onto my last shred of sanity before I lose my mind? Getting my period twice this month didn't help.

Re: How do I not lose the rest of my sanity?

@bre073 Wow, that sounds tough.  I am sorry you find yourself here.

To answer your question, I have found that just being a part of this group really helps me keep a better handle on my sanity.  It is such a big help to be able to talk to and vent to people who are going through the same thing.  With that being said, there are times when I still feel my sanity slipping.  It's like a never ending roller coaster with its ups and downs.

  • So sorry for what you've been going through. If it's any consolation, keep in mind that you are not alone, lots of us go through the frustration of infertility, treatments, failed IVF, etc. It's not "why me", it's something that a lot of women experience, especially after 30. Also, again if it's any consolation, mc happen when embryos are not normal, so in a way it's nature's way (cruel) to avoid an unhealthy pregnancy
