I'm leaving work at 12 then driving up to the mountains to spend the holiday. And I've gotten to be with my husband every night from Saturday until this Friday, which is amazing and not normal lol. I love that man.
After the awful saga of the last house we were under contract for we found a new house and just got the clear to close on it so we are closing Dec 7th and moving Dec 9th!! It's actually in a way better neighborhood with a better school district and is a bit closer to DH's parents! They actually were under contract when we were but the buyers financing fell through so when we let our contract with the other house expire so did they and it kind of just seems like it was meant to be! (Also our realtor ran into the listing agent for the last place and they still don't have the lien discharge that she claimed was being overnight-ed to our title attorney, so we made the right call not extending a 4th time which feels kind of good!)
My second one is a co-worker left a bag at my desk yesterday with some diapers, wipes, snack container, and chocolate. It was so sweet and thoughtful and really just made my day.

I have three this week! My very last week of travel is next week. I can see the end of the tunnel, and it is glorious. AND I have two junior engineers assigned to me to mentor for the next month or so, which is new and exciting. PLUS my husband gets home tonight, and he's here until Monday! That hasn't even fully sunk in yet, but it's going to be awesome.
I have a gluten allergy so I miss out on all the good desserts, so my cousin (who is an awesome baker) is making a GF version of my great grandma's Lemon Meringue pie and I'm so fing happy about it.
I just found out that H has to work on Thanksgiving and Black Friday. So that sucks for him but I'm super excited to have 2 days of no company, no plans, NOTHING. I'm going to deep clean my kitchen, maybe do some painting and watch Gilmore Girls!
My sister is coming over today to help me paint the rest of my house! I'm so excited to have it be a cohesive color like a grown up house rather than different colors in each room. The nesting is real over here.
Since I'm about to hit third trimester, my work gave me a parking pass to park in the visitor's lot which is the closest you can park. Perfect timing now that the temps have dropped below freezing!
My dogs got spayed/neutered yesterday. My girl dog has been having trouble recovering from the morphine, so I brought out my snoogle (which she loves) and wrapped it in a blanket so she could lay with it. She's in HEAVEN.
We saw the baby this morning (measuring right on track!), I ate a face-sized stack of blueberry pancakes, I had one of the greatest poops of my pregnancy, and now I'm working from home/my couch for the rest of the day. A++ Tuesday.

My fridge never looks like this... I took out every single shelf, drawer and piece of tempered glass I could. Too bad (?) it will be overfilled with ingredients for Thanksgiving dinner in a couple of hours.
I have a really, really great boss. My team joined his last year in a totally surprise move by my company, and it ended a year and a half nightmare of dealing with the worst boss I'd ever had. Current boss, though not a father himself, has been completely awesome and understanding about my pregnancy and my insane commute, and just in general has been respectful and trusting in ways that Assboss never was. Bonus this week: he's giving the entire team Friday off, even though it's not officially sanctioned by the company.

I realized yesterday that since this is the first year in a long time that DH doesn't work in a hospital, we will all get to be home together all day Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! I'm so freaking excited!
I am doing a semi-custom handwoven wrap that is my clan's tartan. I got to choose a middle marker myself and choose a Scottish thistle. Just got a preview picture and it looks great!
Up until just now, the baby has only cooperated for my husband to get to feel him. But, just now, finally, the other kids got to feel him!! They were both sooo excited! He's moving all the time, just not usually high enough for me to feel comfortable with anyone touching.
@homemake this now begs the question from this FTM.... what is this glorious diaper bag? I become overwhelmed whenever I look at them so I've been avoiding it haha

https://fawndesign.com/ It's a bit spendy but I love the way it looks. I really wanted something with a backpack option so this checks all my boxes. My only concern is the size but I keep reminding myself that last time I used to WAY overpack. Also they're out of stock but are restocking next week and having a sale!
@homemake those are SO CUTE! They look like normal purses, but also have a backpack option. I love it! I'm the person that if given a large bag, I will find random things (read: crap!) to fill it with! This may need to go at the top of my Christmas list!
