So I went to the Dr for my normal weekly check & he said my amniotic fluid was low at a 6.5 and that we needed to have baby next week. He scheduled me to go into hospital on Dec 1 at 6pm and be induced on Dec 2. What should I expect as I'm a huge control freak and feel like this is completely out of my hands?!
Re: Scheduled induction FTM
and feel at home because it's hard to sleep the night before. They will probably offer you ambien, and if you've never taken it before I might suggest you go for Benadryl or something else instead. I took ambien for the first time the night before my first and it didn't make me sleepy. It made me feel weird and kept me awake. I also don't recommend IV drugs. I accepted those as well in an attempt
to get some sleep and they made me feel weird
as well and made the baby sleepy. I would hold off on the epidural until you are really in pain so that it doesn't wear off before you need it. Good luck!
