So got a bfn this morning 11 dpo. But my temps are still rising. Breasts are tender this morning and I have never had that except when ku. Would someone mind doing a chart stalk for me, it would be nice to have a second opinion on date of O. Really hoping it is still just to early.

@stephann85 I love looking at charts but I am definitely no expert! I don't check my cervix because I had trouble figuring it out - can you O on the same day that it's low/firm/closed or does that always indicate that you've already O'd? Based on your temps, could have O'd CD14 which would make you only 9 DPO. How long are your usual LPs? I usually get tender breasts prior to AF but before I got my BFP they were much more pronounced. Any other early pg symptoms? Keep testing -- FX for you!

My LP lately has been about 12 days. Prior to my last mc it was about 13. I never get sore breasts and that started this morning but isn't super bad, it is mostly my nipples and otherwise breasts just feel heavy. I also started gagging when brushing my teeth this morning. Other than that I had some cramping at 8 dpo and haven't had any since. Edited to add that my skin is also clearing up and usually I start breaking out by now.

@stephann85 I agree, based on temps alone, I'd think CD14. Your secondary signs suggest CD13, but temps should override secondary signs. I'd say you're 9 DPO, 10 DPO at most. So it definitely could be too early.
@oliveoil and @RiverSong15 thanks for the chart stalk. I was wondering if I maybe ovulated late on cd 13. I am also curious, if that is the case, would that explain the not so big temp increase on cd 14? I am going to try and hold off on testing until Sunday or Monday, but I have a feeling the BSC will get the best of me tomorrow.

I have more than a few problems interpreting my own chart so by no means should you listen to my opinion but...I'd say O was in the CD13, CD 14 range. Temp shift was definitely more pronounced then and EWCM still hanging around suggests O was a little later than FF suggests. IMHO.
AF arrived two days early this month so I'm off to the wto for now. Starting to worry that my luteal phase might be too short. It hasn't ever been less than 10 days. Does anyone know if 10 is too short or if it's only when the lp is less than 10 days that it's considered a problem?
@Wingless00 An LP defect is anything less than 10 days. Implantation generally occurs between 7-10 DPO, which is where that number comes from. Even then, it would need to be persistent (3+ months with LPs less than 10 days). It's worth keeping track of and seeking help if it's a lingering issue. That being said, it's not uncommon for cycles to vary after a loss. One of our grads from this board was having short LPs after her MC, but has since gotten pregnant without help.
@Wingless00 sorry about AF. Not knowing what our bodies are doing is so frustrating. I hope next cycle is much kinder to you. Thank you for all your support during this TWW.

@RiverSong15 I saw after posting that you just answered a similar question elsewhere so thanks for answering again. My loss was back in February and my cycles are back to being normal (which for me is not super regular but I chart and use OPKs and have a pretty good idea what Isngoing on). We had a really easy time getting pregnant the first time around and even though this was only our second cycle trying I'm feeling anxious and wanting something concrete to focus my frustrations on.
I'll be checking here for your updates @stephann85!
I'm just hanging out at 11dpo (12 tomorrow) and pretty proud of myself that I haven't bought or taken any tests this cycle. My boobs are a little tender and I have a nice little breakout on my face and some heartburn but other than that no symptoms really to drive me batty. AF is due Mon or Tues so we'll see how I hold up over the weekend. FX for my cycle buddies out there!

@Wingless00 I totally understand the desire to have something be "wrong" that can easily be "fixed". Having to TTCAL on faith that things will be OK the next time around despite having no control over or knowledge of the future is incredibly hard.
Pretty sure I go here now since I will get my crosshairs tomorrow with one more high temp. We had decent timing this month so maybe this will be the one. Hope to hear some good news from some more of you!

Well I 99% sure I'm just waiting for AF. 13dpo BFN w/ a 13-15 day LP. Next month there's no stress to TTC bc DH will be in Panama during FW and then according to our RE we should take the next 6 months off due to Zika. So who knows when we'll be back in the game at this point

@SoonToBeMommaHowe I'm really sorry to hear about Panama and a possible six months on the bench. Have you consulted the CDC website to see what their recommendations are? I did some maniacal reading in the spring right before a trip to Mexico City. They had some different recommendations than the google results. Obviously, you're not going to do anything risky for you and your future family! But perhaps they've completed more research and have a better understanding than just a few months ago. Hoping for a better option than 6 months out of the game!
@SoonToBeMommaHowe FX that this month is good to you and AF never shows up!
It's always good to be your own advocate and I would recommend that you check the CDC website yourself. But I can add a little to this discussion from my own experience and research.
I had a miscarriage after possible Zika exposure (trip last December - well before the CDC's travel warning). We were ahead of the CDC every step of the way and were unable to be tested or to have the "products of conception" tested. Not knowing if we had Zika, if it caused the MC, and having to wait to TTC was excruciating. I really empathize with you situation.
The current CDC recommendation is for men to wait 6 months after possible exposure. We waited about 10 months because there is currently no solid evidence about the risk to future pregnancies after Zika exposure and the evidence for the duration of the virus in the body is still emerging. It seems that Zika remains the longest in the semen, hence the 6 month wait time. The lack of clear recommendations based upon solid scientific data is maddening.
I think everyone feels differently about the risk associated with Zika. We were really scared that this would affect future pregnancies and for us it was worth waiting longer to have more peace of mind.
Best wishes to you and let me know if you have questions!
@SoonToBeMommaHowe Are you going to wait the entire 6 months? We just got back from Orlando, bug bite free and are debating waiting the 6 months.
@Wingless00 I agree about everyone thinking differently about Zika. But it just adds a whole new level of worry. Ugh! I live in CT and Lyme Disease is a worry here too in. And that can have terrible effects on a baby as well. It seems like after a loss you are so much more aware of all of the possible dangers out there. And I wish I could go back to the ignorance of thinking, "That would never happen to me." But, what are we to do? We want to ttc but can't live in a bubble either.
Well said @justsuzie ! It's hard to feel comforted when you are told something is "low risk" once you have been part of the group that has poor outcomes. I'm a perfectionist and control freak and I found it difficult to accept that I just can't control most of what happens on this journey. My husband jokes that I'm going into bubble wrap once I get pregnant. We obviously err on the side of caution but that isn't necessarily the right path for everyone (or maybe even for us!).
What can you do to protect yourself from Lyme disease? Is this like Zika where you need to avoid the great outdoors for the entire pregnancy?
@SoontoBeMommaHowe I'm so sorry for the BFN and the upcoming bench time. That really sucks. This may be a crazy thought, but if you were going to start treatments soon anyway, could your husband freeze some sperm before he leaves? Could you do IUIs with that during the bench time?
Edit: As for me, I think I go here now. Based on CM and OPKs, O was either yesterday or today. I'm hoping for yesterday so our timing would be -1, -2. I'm not sure if we'll be able to get another round in today if O is today. -2/-3 isn't bad, but it could be better. Either way, I'm now in my first TWW since my loss in April! I've forgotten what the anxiety is like, and I'm only at 0 or 1DPO.
@Wingless00 For Lyme they recommend long pants and sleeves. It's hard if you have dogs though because basically a tick can attach to you until it's too cold out which doesn't happen until the end of November! There is little documentation about Lyme disease in pregnancy though. But, from what I have read there is a far greater chance of getting this than Zika. That helped quell my fears about just coming back from Disney this week. But of course I am a nervous wreck about possible waiting and extra 6 months even though neither of us got bitten. I need to bubble wrap myself too!
*lurking (though I should be over here in a couple of days)*
@justsuzie We get tons of ticks on the dogs and my husband is a tick magnet. We have found spraying the dogs with Zerobite (it is a product that pyranha makes that claims to be all natural) works really well keeping the dogs tick free during their runs in the woods. If you do get a deer tick bite and have reason to suspect the tick has been on you for a while, you can ask your PMD for a dose of doxycycline. If you take one dose less than 72 hours post bite it helps to prevent lyme disease. Unfortunately it isn't recommended if you are pregnant.

thanks @SierraFoxtrot. We go walking in the woods everyday. I have to try that Zerobite. I love that it's all natural. At least the weather is warmer now so long sleeves and pants are easy to wear. At least it's getting too cold for the little suckers now.
Hi ladies, thank you for all your input. We have read the CDC website and although they have reduced the seriousness of it, it does say to wait 6 months if the male has been exposed. DH said he'll wear long sleeves/pants and coat himself in deet bug spray so originally we said we would try on our own but not have treatment during that time but of course I googled babies born with Zika and I just don't know if I want to risk it. Such a tough decision because we've already been at this for 37 months so taking 7 off just makes me cringe.
@RiverSong15 that is a great suggestion about the frozen sperm. Then I guess we could at least do a cpl IUIs at the beginning of the year so it doesn't feel like we're doing absolutely nothing. Thank you for that!

So I am pretty sure that I am out this cycle. I think I'm just starting to spot, so AF will likely be here tomorrow. I am really bummed right now, I had a lot of hopes for this cycle. It might sound weird but this cycle just felt different. December 3rd marks our 1 year of TTC. To top it off I'm not sure I want to try this next cycle because the due date would be only a couple days earlier than our first edc. I know that sounds crazy and irrational. I will keep all of you in my prayers, and FX for all of you!

Sorry you're having spotting @stephann85. I understand the anxiety around your previous EDD. If I get pregnant this month, my EDD will be a week later than my first EDD. I have mixed feelings about this.
I wrote in WTO a little. I finally ovulated. I'm either 4 or 6DPO. Today is CD39 (39 days since my D&C). @RiverSong15, I am totally with you. The anxiety is real and it's hard to not overanalyze and worry.

I've had to little to contribute to the BSC's this round as I have ZERO symptoms to go BSC over. Hmmm...are no symptoms a symptom? I'm 7DPO and the only thing I've got is the need to use the restroom more often but I'm fairly certain it's just a fibroid pressing on my bladder. While it's not over yet, I just don't have the feeling. If I end up with a BFP this month, I will never again doubt those who say they had no idea they KU!
@SoonToBeMommaHowe no shame in that. I still have my test from my BFP. I keep it and look at it sometimes because I worry it is the only one I'll ever have. Sometimes it does give me hope though. I just can't part with it.
